Did you know, renowned pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. James Goodrich, who separated conjoined at the head twins, received part of his schooling at a community college and was a surfer? I am always proud to hear about folks who have made contributions to society that started out at a community college. Unfortunately, he has recently died from COVID19. RIP

Sorry to hear he died. Stay safe! Hugs, Valerie
It sounds as if he will be sorely missed (by the world as well as his family).
May he rest in peace, Please take care Sandra.
Yvonne.
Never knew that. Crummy virus indeed.
Ah, started well at least.
That's a sad loss.
I am sorry to hear about his passing. I love that he started at community college. It seems to be a much more popular choice in the past few years (around here). Lots of people I know are going to community college to get their associate's degree and then going to another college to get their bachelor's. Saves a LOT of money.

I remember when the twins were separated..it was headline news. What a shame he died due to this nasty virus. Always, be safe
Yes. He's very much a loss.
Elbow bump.
I heard about his accomplishment and he passed away. Didn't know he went to a community college. Himself teaches at a community college.
So sad.
I noticed that when I read his obituary. Quite a remarkable man.
Sorry for this loss to humanity.
He made an amazing career. Very sad he passed from the virus.
It is indeed, Di.
Most definitely.
Elbow bump.
Thank you, Yvonne. And you.

It was sad to hear of his passing.I agree about getting a start in Community Colleges. That's what my kids did.
It's sad and it's depressing. Still he accomplished so much, lived life to the fullest and left a never to be forgotten legacy.
Yes, it is.
You are so right, Jess. It saves a huge amount of money and it offers a truly worthwhile education.
Yes it is.
Thanks and right back at ya.
So did the HH! And I worked as the admin assist to the VP for Education. That's a mouthful. Ha.
It sure is, Rue.
I am too, Christine.
Good for your kids, Denise. CC's are a great place to get an education or the jumping off point to a higher degree.
I think I've heard of him.
What an amazing contribution, nd so sad that he's passed on too soon. Hugs, RO
