Tuesday

What we've been doing in the garden:
And just for fun, I've added 'gem' stones:)
AND
From a clinician on the frontlines.  I can't mentally stop drafting my obituary. This article was written by a relative that we hold near and dear.

AND
I decided to make navy beans and cornbread the other night. The beans were bitter so I added some baking soda. Remember the volcano in the school science projects? That was my beans in their pot.  And in case you're wondering, after the eruption subsided, it did take care of the bitter:)

AND
More family factoids. We have new grandparents in the family that will go by the grandparent handles of: Loli and Poppi.  I love it:)

AND
Got masks?
AND
For a limited time: a freebie, where offered, for the moms, front liners, essential workers, stay-at-homers and mask wearers.

I never heard of navy beans but..that’s ok...hahahahaaa. Love to see a picture of that eruption which reminds me of the time when I was making orange chicken in the crockpot.it called for baking powder and I mistakingly used baking soda. It started frothing and erupting all over. I yelled for my mom and, after she stopped laughing, she helped me. I was crying...I had just separated from my husband so I was emotional. Now I laugh ever6 t8me I think of that. I love your garden and that you are adding colourful gems..we did this on our walkway.

Nice touch with the colored rocks. My dad was a rockhound and I have hundreds of the rocks he found over the years spread around my garden.

In a couple days, I'll have my very own Minion mask!

Your garden looks good :)

Lovely news on a new grand niece.
I've recently become a Great Auntie and once the restrictions around Covid 19 are lifted can't wait to have a cuddle.

All the best Jan

I don't recall if I visited your blog before or not. Stopping in from High Riser.
Navy bean soup and corn bread sound great.
If you have time stop in for a cup of coffee

Heh. I never saw the volcano coming. I felt like I was in a lab and just needed test tubes and goggles:)

How cool on both fronts. Can't wait to see the mask.
