Of course I will help. You are always so supportive of others that it seems only fair to reciprocate. C. Lee McKenzie's giveaways are always worth investigated. That quote is sadly close to the mark.
Hi Sandra - EC is wonderfully supportive ... and that's great she's helping you with 'Keeper'. Books - always wonderful ... and have been of great solace in this last year. Cheers Hilary
EC sounds like a wonderful person Sandra. My internet line has been down since Saturday, repaired this morning. Have yet to find out whether I can write a blog. Still awaiting a phone call from pc engineer. Hope you're well. Yvonne.
My support pales in comparison to yours. Lee's giveaways are worth investigating for sure and this one is very creative. Luckily, we've got a small group that's really good on returns.
Wonderful flowers and just nice. As for the quote...so true and I have learned my lesson. Funny my sis in law who, when checking on the animals and house, locked herself out onto our enclosed veranda so she kicked our antique door in and broke our old wood. When testing my hubby’s very expensive kayak, she scraped it and ruined his brand new decal. There was something else she did, can’t remember. So, 2 years ago, we came home and I noticed something was off in my library but I couldn’t put my finger on it. My hubby called his sister telling her she did not need to go downstairs and turn off the one light as he told her not to do that. He asked her if she took any book from the library and she did, she took my Betty Davis bio! No, she didn’t ask if she could take it home. I asked her to bring it back and told her that in times past I had people dog ear my books, rip a page and break the spine. She told me she would be ok with my book because I should know how well she treats stuff. I said I would like it back and she asked me if I felt good with myself not sharing my books. I told her I felt great and her response, “oh, I feel sorry for you.” I just laughed and told her ok CO’s I feel perfectly great the way I think. She did bring it back. Overall she is a very nice person but she is way too rough on her things.

I fear that quote hits closer to home than some of us know.

Love that quote, but I did buy most of my books! You're on my blog today! Hugs, Valerie

Yvonne.
Don't loan out books you don't want to see again.
I still have a book I need to return to a friend. In my defence, a pandemic has kept us apart... I'm not sure I'll be able to use that excuse again.
😺 Great book quote!
Innit, the truth?
Good meme, Valerie's review was good.

Thanks a gazillion for hosting me today, my friend.
Hugs received and returned.

She's wonderful and so is Val AND the rest of the blogging community.Yes. Books have been and are a great solace.
Cheers,
Thanks, HG:)
She is. As are you:)
Ack! I hate it when that happens. Hope you are back to normal now.
A pandemic seems a pretty good reason to me:)
Indeed:)
Isn't she great? I really appreciate Val helping me get the word out.
From your lips to readers ears:)
Bellas flores, te mando un beso
