Did You Know

Did you know, that continued exposure to loud noise (airports, etc.) may lead to severe strokes? It stimulates the amygdala, which can trigger emotional response and high blood pressure.

    1. Ha. Innit the truth? :) Although these days the employees probably aren't too thrilled with the passengers either. At least over here.

  3. I had no idea. I know loud noises are bad for your heart because of the reverberating rhythms in your chest cavity.

    1. That's for sure. My HH worked in a noisy factory for many years and his hearing is shot.

  12. Hi Sandra - well frankly when I hear hedge-cutters, leaf blowers et al - operated by incompetent 'gardeners' ... I too could cry with rage - it's so noisy, on top of that the plants, shrubs etc are being decimated - not cared for. Rant over!! Cheers Hilary
