All things Western and more.
Did you know, that continued exposure to loud noise (airports, etc.) may lead to severe strokes? It stimulates the amygdala, which can trigger emotional response and high blood pressure.
No, something more I didn't know! Hugs, Valerie
Just one more reason to hate airports.
I had no idea. I know loud noises are bad for your heart because of the reverberating rhythms in your chest cavity.
I didn't -- I know they're bad for your hearing!
What! Thanks for sharing.
I may have to risk that. Hmm...
Never knew that! Picture suits this fact ;)
I had no idea but that makes sense. Weird though.
Your trivia for the day:)Take special care.Hugs received and returned.
Ha. Innit the truth? :) Although these days the employees probably aren't too thrilled with the passengers either. At least over here.
No, but it all makes sense.

That's for sure. My HH worked in a noisy factory for many years and his hearing is shot.

It is for sure, Birgit:)
Hi Sandra - well frankly when I hear hedge-cutters, leaf blowers et al - operated by incompetent 'gardeners' ... I too could cry with rage - it's so noisy, on top of that the plants, shrubs etc are being decimated - not cared for. Rant over!! Cheers Hilary
It does, doesn't it, Jamie?
