It's Ketch-up Day

How are you, Blogger Buds? Did the mom's out there have a lovely Sunday?

When it's a holiday and we aren't seeing the kids, my go to place is Shelton Vineyards. It's pretty, peaceful and has great food. They had a special menu for Mother's Day. Interestingly, they didn't have a vegetarian option listed but did have one ready for anyone who wanted it. Beluga lentils over cubed sweet potatoes. It was very good. They also had a singer/guitarist performing outside.

Frank always takes time to smell the flowers...and lay under them too:)

Did you and yours have a good Mother's Day? Did you stop and smell the roses?

What a beautiful spot to dine and it looked yummy! I had a nice day here. No usual hike because it decided to lightly snow but enjoyed the company of youngest daughter and her hubby. I got an apple tree and lilac to put in my garden. Our last apple tree didn't make it so trying something new and fenced it so yhe deer and bears leave it alone!

I love this post. To be honest I just had a cry because my boss called, talked fast and told me I'm not getting the Google reviews as the other lady would get 6 per week. I feel like I'm ready to be fired. I spoke to the retired lady who said I am saying g everything correctly.im forgetting one spot for clients to give a review. Looking at the peaceful place you were in on Su day with thT little brook made me feel peaceful and I love your pussy cat

I don't celebrate Mother's Day, my daughter hasn't got in touch for 20 years, so I just avoid thinking about it. Glad you had a great visit and good food, it all looks super. Hugs, Valerie

I'm so glad you had a great day, Natalie.
I'd never had Beluga lentils over sweet potatoes, so didn't know what to expect, but it was quite good:)

What a wondrous day. Having your daughter home and getting an apple tree and lilac bush. Good idea on the fencing. Snow? At least it's wet:_)

I'm sorry, Birgit:( So you had just forgotten to leave a spot for a review? You'll get that corrected. Hugs.

What a fabulous place to spend Mother's Day. The views were stunning. Beluga lentils are some of the easiest to prepare. They sure looked good on your plate.

Frank is such a charmer. He's also good at finding lovely flowers in your garden. Happy belated Mother's Day, dear Sandra.

Yay. I'd love to see your irises. Wink. Wink. Hint. Hint.
