I knew the name but, if you would have given me a trivia question I would have not been able yo re all it. It sounds German but I think he was Jewish from Poland??? I have to look that up.
Yes, I did know. I saw a documentary about him, and long ago, a made-for-tv movie. Oh, and the movie that starred Tony Curtis. Apparently a lot of incorrect information about him was disseminated over the years.
