My first instinct eas to think pig like eating like a I had no cluevwhat this meant so I looked it up. Large claim. My immediate thought was when Harley tried to eat a large rotting clam or mullosc on the beach this psst summer. It took me 4 tries to open up his mouth and try to get that out of his mouth. I mostly triumphed but he still ate a part of it. It was disgusting.
EC, It was a new word for me too. Yvonne, Relaxing is one of my favorite words;) Elizabeth, I consider looking up the meanings doing your homework, not cheating;) Andrew, Good on you for searching. Hils, It was a surprise to me too;)
A great picture! Such a beautiful shell and as for these Quahogs, my in-laws had all the boys scrubbing them before the 4th of July picnic, a long time ago now. I never developed a taste for them, but I enjoy their pretty shells when I see them on the beach. I haven't been to the beach in a long time either :)

Colour me clueless.
My word Sandra is "Relax"
Yvonne.
I had never heard of it, so I looked it up. Clam is my word for it, but I cheated.
That sent me searching. Clam or mollusc, more likely clam.
