It's Ketch-up Day

How was your weekend and Monday? Not too much going on here except we found baby snakes in the garden. Ack. Ack. Ack. We've had a problem with copperheads in the past few years. Double Ack. Time to put the snake repellent down.

Garden pics below. Something new and different:)

Irises and Azaleas (Tis the Season)

AND last but not least, these faux flowers weren't in my garden but they were in my Easter basket:)

Got flowers? How was your weekend? Got plans for this week?

Hi Sandra - lovely flowers - azaleas ... wonderful. A busy week ahead - but good for life ... a talk to hear about Optical Toys and Animated Film. Cheers Hilary

Snakes? Shudder. Love the iris and the azaleas - and wish I could grow azaleas like that.

I once found a snake in my flower bed. I was so freaked out, I didn't weed it the rest of the summer. I hope your snake-be-gone works.

No wonder why the snakes want to hang out in your garden. It's so beautiful and peaceful. The daffodils have passed, but it's still too chilly for other Spring flowers. Much too early to plant as there's still a chance for a frost until mid-May.

Love your pictures as always. The flowers are striking and beautiful. I don't have much in our garden..too cold right now. We had our forsythia bloom which was nice to see.
We used to have garden snakes which are harmless. You have copperhead.. yikes

Those flowers are beautiful, but I must say, I'm not fond of snakes!

Your flowers are spectacular. Snakes are not. Our only flowers are daffodils. Not a complain -- I love 'em!

Gorgeous flowers! None here yet, but getting close:) I don't mind snakes, except the poisonous ones! I hope you find anymore in your garden. Xo

Thanks, Hils. The talk sounds interesting. Have fun.
EC, I second that shudder. Azaleas love NC:)

Thanks, Donna;) Here's hoping for rain this summer so you won't lose yours.

Elizabeth, Right there with ya. You, me and Indiana Jones:)
Lon, I'm not a snake fan either.
Val, Sorry about no flowers but yay about no snakes:)
Birgit, Forsythia always makes me think of Easter. It's so bright and springlike.
CJ, Frost until mid-May? Now that's just wrong. We need to have a talk with Mother Natuare:)

Adam, Yes indeed.
Denise, Indiana Jones and I are lock step when it comes to snakes:)
Jeanie, Daffies are wondrous to see in the spring aren't they?
Jamie, Yes freaked out works for my reaction, then I ran in and got the dragon slayer.
