It's Ketch-up Tuesday

Did you have a wondrous weekend? How goes your week?

Ketching-up

The kiddos are away at camp for the first time. Here's hoping they have all kinds of fun.

We went to see Indiana Jones. Loved it. Plenty of adventure as in all the other Indie films, but this one packs more of an emotional wallop.  Lots of ole lines and ole friends;)

Had lunch with some 'old' (hehe) community college buds. Fun and nostalgic. Time slows for no former-community-college-employee to misquote an 'old' proverb.

Tis The Season

The swallowtails are back. I'm pretty sure I saw a newbie. He was fully developed and could fly, but chose to spend most of his time on the ground nibbling on clover than in the air sucking nectar from the butterfly bushes.

And From Florida

Thank you, Shane.

 And From California

Thanks, Denise.

And From Illinois

Thanks, Jan.

 Got butterflies? Seen Indiana Jones?

I haven't seen any butterflies yet. I think the milkwood is ready or has bloomed. Maybe that will bring the Monarchs. Enjoy your day!

EC, It isn't the season for flutterbyes in your neck of the woods is it? The movies are fun:) Have a great one.
Anakdenesor, Glad you had a restful weekend. Bendix the kitty is cute, isn't he?
Andrew, That's Lake Tahoe. It's an amazing view, isn't it?
Natalie, Let me know what you think of the movie.
Alex, Dramatic is a good word for the scenic photos for sure. All movies hit streaming sooner or later, don't they?

Val, Me too. Butterflies are special aren't they? Hugs received and returned.
Christine, Hope you get to. It's great.
Hi Di, Isn't that snow something? I haven't seen any black swallowtails yet this summer. I love them. They're so pretty.
I do too, Kinga. Thank you:)
CJ, If the milkweed is ready to bloom start watching for those butterflies;)

It's supposedly going to be a rainy or coolish week up here so we might go see Indiana Jones, too. I'm glad it's good. Just LOVE that butterfly!

If you go to the theater, let me know how you like Indiana Jones, Jeanie.
Rainy and cool sounds wonderful.

Glad to hear Indiana Jones was good. I've heard it's too woke (at least more than others). I love that series.

I bought milkweed to attractthe swallowtails, but a squirrel, bunny, or opossum dug it up and killed it, bulb and all. I've seen all the old Indiana Jones films, but not the new one. Friends sent you some lovely photos this week.

Hope they have fun at camp :) We have a swallowtail that is always around when I'm outside. I look forward to seeing the new movie soon, hopefully on vacation. Thanks for sharing Tahoe. Hugs xo

Hi Sandra - we've had some wonderful skies ... but after last week's shenanigans ... lack of electrics and broken boiler - I'm still working through things ... it's life isn't it. Lots going on too ... so pleased you've had some happy times and have heard from others - cheers Hilary

Jacqui, I think you'll love this one too. It's my fave. It's typical Indie fare with more heart.
Elizabeth, Bad squirrel. Bad. Bad. Or bunny. Or possum:) I think you'll enjoy the movie when you get to see it. The buds do take good pics, don't they?
Hey Denise, I hope so too. Anxious to hear. Maybe your butterfly is an old soul. Hope you get to see the movie soon. It's so much fun. Thank YOU for sharing Tahoe. Hugs received and returned.
Thanks, Hils. Thank goodness that boiler is fixed. Hope you can relax a bit now. Cheers

I just saw my first monarch..they were dancing in the air. I've had the small orange butterflies but not sure what they are called.
Love to see the new Indiana movie and wonder if he is trying to escape a big Boulder in his wheelchair:)).
