*My BFF and I haven't had a chinwag in forever.
My best friend and I haven't talked for a very long time (which is much less dramatic).
Chat but chinwag is more fun.

I've never used that word. I've probably go with something boring like "chat" or "discussion."I've heard "chinwag" used to describe a overly talkative person. But I don't know if that's correct.
