Ketch-up Day

Well, we are home from the hospital. Day of surgery, we got there at 6:30 a.m. and he got to his room about 7:00 p.m. He under went spinal fusion so it's going to take awhile to pop back. So far, the surgery has every appearance of being a success. And each day marks another day of healing. The daughter and SIL drove from Philly and delivered homemade soups. It was a lightning trip since they had to be back at work Monday, but it was wonderful to see them.

On another note:)

While in Philly for Thanksgiving, as mentioned, we went to Longwood Gardens. Here's some pics. (Many more to come. Heh.) These are a few of the Christmas trees we saw. Pretty, huh?

That's all for today folks. I'll be back next week. Let me know what  you have been doing while I've been gone.

The trees, so pretty, so pretty, so pretty and witty and gay.
Good that the surgery seems to have worked. Time will tell.

So glad to read the surgery seems to have gone well for your HH. Guess playing golf and shoveling snow are out of the question right now.

Those trees are all amazing. And some have a ton of gifts under them, too.

Like you, I am onl9y posting once a week (T Tuesday) through the end of the year. My excuse is I am tired and need a break for the first time since 2007.

I missed last week and I feel guilty knowing your HH has undergone surgery. It sounds like he is doing well and I so wish you the best. I’m glad you both could take I. These pretty Christmas trees. I have been busy with decorating and it’s been crazy at work.

Good news on the surgery, Sandra. I was thinking about that. All good wishes for a full and easy recovery and soon!

Thanks for the Longwood photos. I'd love to visit there at this time of year.

Pretty, witty and gay sums those trees up nicely, Andrew:) Yes on the surgery and time:)
Elizabeth, Nothing wrong with taking some you time. Rest, dear Elizabeth.
Thanks, Di. I can't begin to imagine the hours or the number of workers involved with the trees. The ones I photographed are just the tip of the ice berg. There were Christmas trees everywhere.
Thanks,Donna. Hugs received and returned.
Thank you for the good well wishes, FSG.
