Chum as I know it is meat based material thrown overboard just to attract sharks and other fish.

I heard Trump gobbles up chum when his minions throw it into his pen. I did know that about Mountain Dew I loved that pop when I was a kid. Some of the cans had a moonshine coming out of his broken cabin. I looked it up and my daddy told me the story of it.
Chum I know is meat and parts they throw into water to attract certain fish, like sharks. I didn't know that about Mountain Dew! Xo
I knew that Mountain Dew is the name for illicitly distilled liquor. I've always wondered why it was chosen for a soda name.
I knew about chum as they throw it off fishing boats to attract larger fish. I didn't know that about Mountain Dew. I think it has one of the highest caffeine levels so I don't drink it.
