Writerly Wednesday AND Did You Know AND Denise's Challenge

What's your word, example, synonym or definition for:

Mine: Dang! I've got a flyspeck on my new shirt.

AND

Did you know, the Pink Fairy Armadillo is the smallest Armadillo in the world?

 AND

Denise is hosting a challenge.  Words to picture.  I did a mini-mini-short:)

Her flame lit the ebony walls and fluttered through damp and the dark. Holding her light aloft she danced on the cold, smooth floor of the cave, her heart filled with joy. She had found a home.

Never heard of flyspeck, but it sounds like a stain? I like that the fairy armadillo is the smallest. I loved your take on the photo. You said a lot in few words and gave it a happy ending. Thanks for participating xo

Love your microshort.
Flyspecks? Sadly we see too many of them in summer.

Damn those cave robbers. There’s nothing left - not even a flyspeck.

Isn't the flyspeck now back in the Whitehouse? Sorry, couldn't resist. I hate those on the windshield of my car or those tiny dots on the chandelier. That's a great small event for the lady who found her home.

It was a new one for me too, Jeanie:) But I like it:)

Heh.

"Flyspeck" is a word I haven't used before, but it's a good one. And fun story, Sandra. I wouldn't mind living in a cave ... with a few modern conveniences. :-)

Hi Sandra - flyspeck is certainly not a word I use - but I do see them around ... and I can't wait to see more!! Warmth and longer days - your tale is well done - cheers Hilary

Denise, You got it. That's exactly what flyspeck is: a small stain. I thought you'd enjoy the fairy armadillo:) AND thanks for hosting the challenge:) s.c ox

It's a great work, isn't it, Diana? Ratchet that up to a lot of modern conveniences (heh) and I'm right there with ya:)
