Ketchup-Day

How are you?

I'm pleased to say we've had over five and a half inches of rain in the past week or so. The plants are happy.

AND speaking of plants.  I got a honey mandarin orange tree for Mother's Day. My daughter grew a lemon tree from seed and I said I wanted to try that, though possibly with orange seeds. She pointed out that all things consider, i.e. age, maybe I should get a sapling. 😆-

AND There's all kinds of blackberries on the bush this year.  Looks like the birds and I will be going toe to toe when they ripen.

Frank had the guy-sprawl thing going and took up his piece of the couch as well as half of Callie's.

Oh by the way, if you haven't read this post, I highly recommend it. It's got an unexpected twist that I just loved and sure didn't see coming.

That's it for now, Blogger Buds. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Addendum

Whoops. I didn't preset my date when I did my Wed and Thursday post, shown below.  I should be back on track Friday.

How rude of your daughter (even if she is right it is rude). Love that cat sprawl. Off to read that post.
Jealous thoughts about the rain. We have had some promised but it hasn't happened.

Love the new tree your daughter got you. I think a sapling may be your best bet. Frank sure looks comfy. I miss my blackberry bushes that somehow got dug up my my neighbor. I read the story and want to believe it was true. Sorry I have missed a couple of posts.

Wow on the lemon tree from seed!

Christine, Indeed. It's taken a heck of a long time to get it going. Hence the daughter's concern;)

EC, LOL about the daughter. It's just how we roll. Though I thank you for your concern. Toes-crossed, fingers firmly planted on the keyboard, that you get rain soon. Thanks for checking out DK's post.

Denise, Oh yes. Bears win hands down:)
The weather has been back in the 80s so the ground is drying out fast. xo

Hi Sandra - if you can't joke along with your family ... you're missing out on so much. Well - good luck with the sapling - my brother and SIL have an orange in their conservatory ... and my mother had one in Cornwall - fun to try things. We're expecting rain too ... we've had a little - cheers Hilary
