How are you?
Same ole. Same ole here. The HH hasn't won the lottery and I haven't hit the NY Times Best Seller list yet. Ha.
Sadly, the Swallowtails are dying off. I see bits and pieces of wings in the yard. I have no idea about their life cycles. That's probably something David could help us with. A little hummer moth has been hanging out at one of the butterfly bushes. I love to watch him. Have you ever seen them? They're like little miniature hummers. AND. A monarch stopped by today. That was exciting. I haven't seen one in forever.
I managed to get a few shots of both.
AND
The HH and I are both entranced by the casing of the hibiscus's flower. Okay, entranced might be too strong a term for the HH's interest. But he did ask about it:)
I can't believe the white Irises are still blooming. The poor things are so confused. Nonetheless, I'm enjoying them.
And froggy continues to hold his own against the encroaching Asian Jasmine. That's it for now, Blogger Buds. What's going on in your neck of the woods.

Waiting for my wife to fully recover from surgery. She had a stich pop and it has been an unfortunate bit of news
I am so sorry, Adam. You guys have had a time of it.
LOL on the lotto and New York Times bestseller list. Your photos are gorgeous, as usual. I love the closeups of the butterfly.
We are still trying the lotto too...lol such a beautiful garden and love the pic of the monarch. Been a while since I've seen one too. I
LOL nice to see froggy peeping out from the Asian Jasmine.
All the best Jan
I've never seen a hummer moth around here. We still have swallowtails - at the moment.
Lovely photos
The hover moths look so delicate, with beautiful wing markings.
Natalie, Yeah, we laugh too. Heh. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Denise, The HH plays regularly and usually gives them out at xmas. This year one of the other relatives gave them out too and there were two or three family winners. And decent wins. Not huge. But decent. I knew we had a winner when my sister muttered an awed expletive I'd never heard pass her lips before:) Heh.
Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Sending wishes for butterflies your way.
I saw a butterfly the other day. Pretty exciting. Lots of birds where I live.
Lindas mariposas. te mando un beso
