Hi Sandra - Bafflegab week for me ... a good time, but just occasionally the wheels come off and I waffle away!! Yes I knew the flower aspect ... have a v good week - cheers Hilary
I had just arranged the bouquet of cauliflower in my best vase when Hortense arrived. She swept in as usual, like a windstorm funnelling down a canyon, coat tails flying, hair askew. How did one person inherit the talent for baffelgab so completely and perfectly? It will remain a mystery, but I knew I was in for a whole session of it now. I know she’s my only sister, but that job offer in Vancouver is looking more appealing by the minute.
I don't know bafflegab, but it explains itself.
I think you need to monitor comments before publishing, Sandra. This kind of junk will only get worse and swamp the other comments.
Thank you for the birthday greeting.
That's an awesome word!
no one speaks bull$#1t like a politician 😜😜‼️
What a fun word, Sandra :) I like are veggies are flowers too! Happy birthday to all including you xo
Good fact
Felicidades a los cumpleañeros. Te mando un beso.
Oh I use Gobblygook often. I didn't know the other word but it suits many in the high office. I didn't know they were flowers and I will check out that link.
Hils, Hope your entire week is celebratory:) Cheers,
It's pretty good, isn't Jeanie?:)
Bafflegab is a new word for me. It's definitely what comes out of the mouth of a certain fascist felon. I'm not sure what word I use instead. Probably some sort of profanity. I guess I should have know cauliflower is a flower, but I thought it was one of those strange made-up words with flower not meaning flower, if you know what I mean and don't mean with my bafflegab.
Love,
Janie
I always learning something new. Thank you.
LOL. Love it, David:)
Well said, Andrew! It surely does.
Agreed. It's on. Sigh.
Hope your day was wondrous, Jamie;)
Innit, the truth, FSG:)
It is a fun word, isn't it, Denise? And the veggies are very privileged to be flowers:) xo
I wasn't surprised by bafflegab, but I was shocked to hear the veggies were flowers.
Technically they'd be true for cabbage Brussel sprouts and kale since all those vegetable are mutants of wild cabbage
Glad you think so, Christine.
We thank you for the bday wishes.
Hi Birgit, Gobblygook is a good word. Hope you learn fun facts from the link.
That is an interesting word to say aloud. haha - Oh and I do enjoy eating those tasty flowers.
Janie, I do know what you mean and excellent use of bafflegab:)
I'm glad to hear that, Regine, and happy you stopped by.
Who'd a thought. Right, Liz?
Hi Adam, I love ornamental kale and cabbage plants. Gorgeous.
Hi True, I enjoy eating those flowers too:)
I love all these facts about flowers. I knew about that flower that stinks like a corpse…no thank you..lol. I had no idea the peonies could live that long or the rose. There are so many rose varieties. Love the different looks of the orchids. My mom used to create the flower and stone of the month in a quail egg.
Sounds like you got your creative streak from your mom, Birgit:) Glad you enjoyed the article.
