Christmas and Quotes

"The earth has grown old with its burden of care But at Christmas it always is young, The heart of the jewel burns lustrous and fair And its soul full of music breaks the air, When the song of angels is sung."~Phillips Brooks

Wednesday's Quote:
"I have been learning since I was a kit. What else is there to know? I can hunt. I can speak both human and Catonese. I have studied the strategies of all the great leaders: the lions, tigers, pumas, even detestable man. I know everything I need to know."~ Prince Sittchuk Seth, ODIN CATS

I'm thinking it's a shame the prince is not human...he'd be the perfect man

Did you know that the preferred Chinese language is Mandarin rather than Cantonese? I have friends who speak both. Both languages are lyrical to hear. I even know a couple who married - he speaks Cantonese and she speaks Mandarin -- they converse in English. Their two young children speak all three languages. What a gift!

Ahh, but it would lessen him.

Very cool, Les. And no, I didn't know that.

He's a bit arrogant, isn't he? There's always something a person or cat can learn. :)

He's about to find that out;)
