Mamma Mia 2
Definitely a chick flick. My husband sent his profuse thanks to my friend for going with me so he didn't have to. Grin. I loved it. It took me a bit to get into it because of the new characters, but once I did, I was hooked. It has a different feel to it from the first one, but just as good in its own way. Highly recommended, especially for any woman who has a daughter or is a child of the sixties.
*Spoiler alert. I did miss Meryl.
Have you seen it? Did you like it?

I didn't even see the first.
Happy belated CJ. And I hope it was happy.
Haven't seen this one, and din't see the other one, either. Glad you liked it. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
I am like the people who commented before me. Guess we aren't into chick flicks. I know I've never been. I was delighted to hear you liked it. And of course, I will wish CJ a happy belated birthday.
Haven't seen the first movie in this series, but it always looked fun, as does this one. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Then I will take your word for it and glad you enjoyed!
I haven't seen it and the phrase 'kicking and screaming' comes to my mind, but I did enjoy the musical.
I'll also take your word for this one.
Thanks for the wishes, Sandra. I'll pass on Mama Mia no matter the number. =^,.^=
I haven't seen the first one either.
I love the first one and I know I will love this one because of the ABBA music, the locations, the 3 men, Cher and, as your wrote, less Meryl... :)
Hi Sandra - I have seen it ... but I'm not into chick flicks and this is a 'will be seen sometime movie' ... cheers Hilary
I enjoyed them both for you:)
I haven't seen it. Interesting that Meryl isn't in it. I can see how she would be missing. :) Thanks for sharing!

I probably wouldn't have seen the first one if someone hadn't told me the story line. It totally intrigued me.
Hope you have a great week too.
Hugs received and returned.
I loved both of them. I had no idea Meryl Streep had such a wonderful voice. Not to mention Pierce Brosnan sings in both of them. Be still my heart:)
Thanks, Heather. It's amazing to see well known actors in singing roles. It was fun:)
I saw the first one, wasn't a big fan mainly because it was all covers from just one band. Les Miserables was a much better musical
Heh. Thanks, Alex:)
I can't even tell you the name of the last movie I saw....I think it was the Sixth Sense. !!!!!!!!!!
happy birthday to you CJ and here's to many many more !!!♥♥☺☺
Ha!
Seeing the musical is on my bucket list.
Heh. Heh.
Never even saw the first one but heard great reviews about it.
Glad that you had a great time!!!
Hugs ❤💮❤
I haven't seen it, sounds like I should!
I haven't see the movie. Sorry Sandra.
Happy Birthday CJ!!!!
Big Hugs Sandra!
I haven't seen it yet.
Heh.
Hope your day was filled with joy and that you're still partying.
Sounds like most of the blogster buds haven't.
Loved Mama Mia 1, I simply adore Abba songs many years ago wrote w poem "Dancing Queen".
Yvonne.
Did you see the first one, True?
Clutching my heart and reeling backwards. I love Meryl:)
Heh. I hope when you do see it, Hilary, that you are pleasantly surprised.
Cheers,
Tsk. Tsk. What were they thinking?
I haven't seen Les Miserables, but I'd like to.
Well you chose a good one for your last one:) Though, I must admit it creeped me out a bit:)
Let me know if you do and if you like/love it.
You'll have to post that one, Yvonne:)
Not a problem:)
Hugs received and returned.
Thanks, Jan. Yes, I enjoyed them both:)
Hugs received and returned.
I'm not gnashing at the bit to see it but I do like ABBA music so maybe! Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you. I did thoroughly:)
I haven't even seen the first - but I appreciate it's popular!
All the best Jan
