Oh, yikes! How scary. O_O We had a storm recently, too, that caused some damage. And totally with you when it comes to climate change--I'll never understand how some people don't believe in it.
Oh my. We are STILL hanging out for rain. But would prefer it didn't fall quite like that. I hope you can avoid that new cavern. And wish some of our politicians would accept that climate change is real - and needs attention. NOW.
The current weather extremes are really scary. Looking at all the issues right the way around the world at the moment, it feels like we've reached the point of no return. I can't fathom anyone who still thinks climate change is a hoax... and yet there they are, all over my Twitter feed :-(
Climate change IS a hoax, Sandra. Just ask our President who wants to get rid of all ecological gains we have accomplished over the years. Don't ask ME, though, or I'll get on my soap box. Hope they soon fix that crater near your home.
The rain has subsided here this week but, there were torrential downpours most of last week. I am sure we will see more moodiness from Mother Nature as she reacts to the imbalance caused by humans.
Hi Sandra - our climate has always changed ... but I'm sure what we do isn't helping ... and hope that road gets repaired soon. So many could do with rain - then we won't want it ... as landslip will occur - a lot to do with us humans. Take care - Hilary
I heard the other day we are on the cusp of no return. That there is a small window to turn it around, but if we don't hop on it now it's going to be too late.
Sandra!!! I hope no one got hurt! Wow!! There has been tones of rain around here too! In Toronto, south from where I live, they were flooded last night. The city was under water! Crazy! There is climate change!! We have to stop cementing everything too, because the water has no where to go!! Big Hugs Sandra!

We are facing severe draught here.
Meanwhile way down south, like south of the equator, it looks like we are in drought conditions.

I don't think we've lost any roads but we've had a ton of rain here. Enough already!

We had a few roads wash out after Matthew a couple years ago.

I still think it's crazy roads can just "vanish"

Glad you didn't get hit.
It doesn't bode well for the future, does it, True?
It's scary.
Climate control interferes with their mega bucks.

All we've had is heat upon heat, ugg. Gotta love the hoax. Pffft.
YIKES ~~~~~ we hope no one was hurt and the road can be repaired soon.... ♥
In complete agreement on politicians and climate change, especially when the politicians are also businessmen.
That's for sure, Adam.
I don't think anyone was on the road when it collapsed. Whew.
Extreme weather for sure, whether it's raining or the sun is beating down.
Cheers,
Extremes everywhere isn't there, when it comes to weather?
Well said!
Climate change is one of the many scary things he is taking the wrecking ball to.
Get on your soap box all you want. You're entitled:)
For sure, Alex. The sun is shining today so we're probably heading for heat and drought. No moderation these days:)
Pffft indeed.
Scary stuff, but no one was hurt. Whew.
Dang. Hope no one was hurt.
It's scary.
Sighing.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that, Nas:(

Big Hugs Sandra!
Between excess heat (Cali and Europe), rain (the east), upcoming hurricane season... oh no. There's no global warming. And I'm a hollyhock.
A twenty foot hole! Yikes!
Take care
All the best Jan
