I did know about clothing with built-in insect repellant, but wonder how it stands up to being washed.
Love that your book is appearing widely.

That clothing sounds interesting. The insects have been feasting on me every time I go out, and now wasp season has begun, and I hate wasps! Thanks for the 'thanks'! Hugs, Valerie

That's a new one on me. Always love your trivia, which is often off the wall, but truly useful information.

Looks like others are getting the word of your ThunderTree book out there, too. I hope it's a great success.

I knew about it, but the fire hazard clothing has cancer causing chemicals in them, supposedly, so I wonder what they have.

What Pat said. Besides, wouldn't a couple washes take it right out?

I did not know that. Interesting.

Good question.
Thanks so much, EC:)

Ack! Insects just zap the fun out of being outside.
Thanks for hosting me:)
Hugs received and returned.

Hope it works better than the sprays. I think the bugs are becoming immune

Off the wall pretty much sums me up. Heh.
Thanks for ThunderTree's well wishes. Much appreciated. As is all the help from blogger buds.

Hmmm, not sure I would buy that, it’s already bad enough that we put this poison on us that seeps into our skin but now we have it in the clothing. What if it seeps in when we wash it with other clothing? Plus, what Part said.

I didn't know about the insect repellent but it's a great idea, so long as it doesn't make you break out!

Thanks, Rue.

Good point/question, Pat.

Good questions. Definitely worth researching.

Hi Anne.
I don't know how well it works or how safe, but I found the idea intriguing.

Sure appears to be in the garden.

I didn't know about the insect repellent clothing, sounds a good idea.

All the best Jan

Wouldn't this new treatment turn up, say, in 5 years with huge warnings? Whenever there is a miracle cure, my warning light goes on.

Adam said...

I suppose it doesn't last forever.

Poor Part, I mean, Patt

Sandra said...

It's an interesting concept, isn't it, Jan?

Sandra said...

It's possible.

Sandra said...

Seems like it would wear out or wash out, doesn't it?

Janie Junebug said...

But will the repellent leap from the clothes up to my head and infect my brain, making me stoopider? Look! I don't even have the clothes and it's all ready hapening.

Love,
