Did you know, when President Joe Biden was in the senate he would sit by his friend John McCain in the senate till both the republican and democratic parties objected.

The party officials were wrong. Joe Biden and John McCain were not. Friendship SHOULD be celebrated.

Friendship is so subjective to over lookers.

I just had a a quick look at Wiki regarding McCain and he was not a bad bloke for a Republican.

I didn't know this. Friends together is so much better than being divided by hate. Hugs, Valerie

One more reason this country is now so divided.

Nope, had no idea. Interesting! 🙂

That is so dumb to object when everyone should have clapped because it means, despite their political differences, parties could work together.

Didn't know that and it's so cool

Wow, that's crazy! Why in the world would someone object to who sat with who? Everyone else should have jumped on board and done the same thing. Friendship is friendship even when we have different beliefs, color, or sexual orientation. This is such fabulous info, and I love your trivia so much! Hugs and more hugs, RO

Pretty silly and maybe has helped get us where we are today.

Sandra Cox said...

It sure is.

Sandra Cox said...

Isn't that great? Not so much the reaction of their parties:(

I admire him so much. Did you read that he was a prisoner of war and was offered a release but refused to leave his men? And they weren't kind to him over there.

Sandra Cox said...

We are doing well. Hope you are too.

Sandra Cox said...

Oh yes.
