Did you know, legend has it that bloodstones were oracles and gave off sounds of guidance? They are also purported to support long life. Bloodstones get their name from the red jasper sprinkled in the stone.
Right there with ya, Stacy. I love this stone. A co-worker gave me a little cat carved from bloodstone. A purrfect gift. Big hugs received and returned.

Oh wow, I had literally no idea, girl! 🤷♂️
I didn't - but don't believe it either.
I didn't know it! Hugs, Valerie
That's a fun fact! Here's another one, bloodstone is also the gem for the month of March. Or one of them. The other is aquamarine
Had no idea about this one, but it sure sounds interesting! Hope all is well, Super Sandra. Hugs, RO
Interesting lore.

I didn't know that, but it's always interesting to read lore like that. It suggests a spooky story around a campfire.
