Tuesday's question.
If you had the ability to purr to show your happiness, how many times a day do you think you'd purr?
1. Once or twice a day?
2. Five or six?
3. Ten or twelve?
4. All the live long day.
A Random Act of Kindness.
I was in line in the grocery store, not paying much attention to what was going on around me. When it was my turn to check out, the clerk had a bit of a dazed look on her face. She pointed at a pretty potted plant and said the woman ahead of me had just given it to her. "Did you know her?" I asked.
She shook her head. "No," she said and went on to tell me that she'd been having a bad day and that simple act of kindness turned it around. And added that she would find a way to pass it on.
Did you know it's Random Acts of Kindness Week?
Floral Delights.
The HH surprised me an amaryllis.
The hellebore surprised me with blooms:)
Did you have a good Valentines? Did you know it's Kindness Week? How often would you purr in happiness if you had the ability?

Purr once or twice a day I think. We once had a cat you only had to look at he would purr. If he was on your lap, he never stopped purring, except he used to dribble as well.
I'd only purr a couple times a day Sandra. I didn't k ow it was Kindness Week. It don't cost much to be kind even when the world is in turmoil..... all the more reason I'd say.
Have a good day and take care.
Yvonne.
That's a great question. I love cats so, when I become one... I'll tell you 💯
I hope I would purr as often as Jazz does. If I purr at him, he purrs back, and sometimes he just purrs for no apparent reason.
Love your floral delights.
Great question. My answer would vary by day though I do try to purr a lot. And it makes us all feel good when we do random acts of kindness.
Good week for kindness.
I'd purr an average of ten times a day.
So nice to know there are still lovely people in the world. Sweet of your husband to gift with with a beautiful plant, too. Purring? At least once a day, even if the day is going pear, there's always one good thing that happens if you care to look for it.
Our local supermarket often gives customers little treats (chocolates, flowers, bottles of wine, and sweets or a small toy for a child) when they look like they need it. I know it's a national initiative, but when you're on the receiving end, it's personal and lovely. How fantastic the clerk was given such a lovely gift.
I'd purr most of the day, every day. What a lovely gesture. I didn't know it was kindness week, but then I believe every day should be part of kindness week!
I think I would purr about 8 times per day. I need to give but not too much or my staff may get sloppy. I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day with pretty pink tulips and a potted plant which my husband will take care of( I killed the last potted plant he gave me) plus chocolates and a wonderful card. I gave him a card I created plus I made a nice shrimp dinner that he enjoyed. You have flowers peaking out of the ground...is that too early? We had a major snow storm overnight and it looks so pretty!
I think twice a day purring for me. I do love random acts of kindness stories, the lottery win ones too.
Yay for random acts of kindness! Gorgeous flowers :) I'd want to purr all day if I could.
I love cats like that:)
Agreed, Yvonne. It doesn't cost much to be kind.
You have a good day and take care too.
Love that response:)
Yay Jazz. I love to listen to cats purr.
A definite thumbs up to trying to purr a lot.
Yes it is, Alex.
10 xs a day is good:)
Well said, CJ:)
That is so nice of your supermarket.
I agree. It is personal and lovely.
Glad to hear it would be a continuous purring for you.
It was a lovely gesture. Warmed my heart.
Yes, every day should be about kindness.
Sounds like you had a lovely Valentines. I'm glad:)
Yes and yes:)
Purring all day...purrfect.
xoxoxo
I posted about RAK on my teacher blog. Such a great reminder to kids of all ages.
Bellas flores es un hermoso regalo mas cuando e s inesperado. Te mando un beso
I can't say I'd purr all day, but I'd purr most of the day. I had to wade out in the cold waters of Lake Junebug to hook up my pump. That's enough to stop a purr.
Love,
Janie
Hi Sandra - as Janie says - I'd have to sleep in the sun too! But I'd purr with happiness too ... Lovely white amaryllis - beautiful to have around ... stay safe - Hilary
That's great, Jacqui.
Oh yes:)
I'll send you a hug.
It would stop me purring for sure.
Sleeping in the sun would definitely be a good reason to purr wouldn't it, Hils?
I think I would purr at least 10-12 times, if not all day!! I love the flowers! What beautiful acts of kindness! My mom bought me a new mug for Valentine's Day! Big Hugs Sandra! Love Frank's picture!
