It's Tuesday

What's popping up in your garden?

As you can see I've got hostas  cropping up and....a glove. Have no idea where it came from or how long it's been there but it's firmly entrenched in the ground. Hope there's no hand underneath it......(Cue eerie music.)

Now that spring has arrived I'm working on my rock garden again.

AND

The first violets and tulips. It seems like no time at all since I was posting last year's first violet sighting.

I took several sky shots. *Spoiler alert. They aren't in the same category as Valerie's and Sue's.

I love seeing the moon still out in the morning.

This is from the skylight on the porch.

That's it for me. Are you enjoying your daybreaks and sunsets? Got flowers popping? Or maybe gloves:)

Love your sky shots. Our tuberous begonias are still in bloom. And now we have some autumn crocus emerging..
And I am considering planting more tulips. And weeding around the violets.

You are experiencing a moment in time when the trees are leafless yet some flowers are blooming.

I enjoyed seeing your garden so much further ahead than mine. Your sunset photos are gorgeous. Or are they sunrise? Interesting mystery with the hand-grown glove. I wonder if you'll find the glove's mate.

Hi Sandra - both ... gloves and popping flowers - daffs, snowdrops, and many others ... the carpet gardens along the seafront are enjoying the sunny days ... cheers Hilary

That's cool you have a skylight in your porch roof.
Think that glove is the beginning of a story.

Awesome that your flowers are popping up. My tulips and daffodils are just poking out of the dirt. It's still cold here so I won't have any flowers until next month.

Beautiful pictures, especially the moon through the tree branches. Sadly, the only thing I've got popping in my garden are weeds.

I'm not sure what's coming up in my wife's garden at this point in time, she hasn't told me. I'm just glad it's not a glove!

Your garden looks beautiful!

I too, love being able to see the moon during that time!

And I must say, that skylight view, and those sunsets, are beautiful too!

It looks good where you are! It's too early for my hostas but I am seeing daff sprouts and my mini irises sprouting too!

A huge welcome back, Sue! New tulips and weeding around the violets work for me:)

Your flowers are way ahead of mine. My tulip leaves are starting to pop out of the ground, but not much else, yet. I love the sky shots and of course, all those wonderful flower growing in your yard, dear Sandra.

oddly enough, I found a glove in my yard about two weeks ago; where it blew in from is anyone's guess { have had some crazed winds here lately } nothing much yet in the way of flowers.. which I'm thankful for as the forecast calls for 24 on caturday ~~~~~~ hizzzz

Exactly:) It's a lovely time.

Nothing looks like it is popping up here yet, but there are a few buds starting to grow on the trees.

I have always wanted a skylight, the best I could do was get a moon roof on my SUV.

Thanks, Yvonne;) Great to see you (in the cyber sense).

Sandra Cox said...

There's both sunrise and set.
If I dig up the gloves mate, I'll holler. Long and loud;)

Gardens and seafronts and sunshine. What could be better?

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Alex. I love skylights:)
And, yes, that thought was wiggling through my mind too:)

Aha! So that is where the body is buried! The service of Inspector Poirot are not required!

Lovely flowers...good fertiliser, it would seem! Take good care! :)

Best part of spring, isn't it, Natalie? AND it's almost next month;)

Sandra Cox said...

LOL. I hear ya on that. Ya just can't keep a good (or bad) weed down:)

It won't be long now:)

Me too, Christine. It's my favorite time of year.

I bet when you go outside tomorrow those tulips are going to be even higher:)
Thanks, dear Elizabeth.

Love your pics of the flowers and trees...there’s a song in there somewhere:)). We don’t have anything popping up yet. Having rain the next few days. Actually our Christmas tree popped up from the snow last week. It was buried. The glove looks ominous and we have nothing like that here but....my hubby showed me something he found w(en he was digging beside our house and it turned out to be a musket ball!!

Sandra Cox said...

We still need to spray weed killer.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks. I need to get out and weed. They're thriving:)

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, J.P.
Sending you hugs,

You have a greenhouse? Be still my heart.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Lon.
Seeing the moon while the sun is still shining is amazing, isn't it?

Sandra Cox said...

Ooh you have fascinating things in your ground. A Christmas tree popup and a musket ball. Cool. Did you hear about the mammoth tooth that was found in Iowa? A foot long and weighed 11 pounds. Can you imagine?
