It's Tuesday

If you had three frivolous wishes to ask a genie, what would they be?

Mine:

For one or all of my books to hit #1 on Amazon.

To have a butler. If for nothing else to remove the lint, cat and dog hairs that jump on my clothes.

The third wish would be a toss up between a maid/cook to help the butler and a Tesla:)

Now...if my wishes were serious--though hitting #1 at Amazon is serious, unfortunately still frivolous, heh---they would be:

For my grandson to be forever cancer free.

For Ukraine to be restored to a peaceful country immediately.

For hunger not to be an issue anywhere in the world.

AND

Captain Stubby is blooming  😸

When Captain was alive he would throw himself down on the bottom step of the porch and roll around, enjoying the sun, loving life. After he passed, Frank started doing the same thing, on the same step.  It makes me wonder if Cap left a bit of his essence, his energy or maybe just his scent on the step.

RIP, Cap.

What are your three wishes?

Got critters that linger?

How I would love to see world peace.
On a selfish level I would love to have a self cleaning home and a self weeding garden.
Love that Captain left a little of himself behind. And that Frank has claimed it.

I'm happy with your three wishes.

How sweet Frank continued the tradition.
My only wish - for everyone to know God. That would end most problems.

I'd love to have Robby the Robot from "Forbidden Planet" because he cooks, cleans, sews, does everything you can think of, and even drives. I'd also like to have my studio on an island in a lighthouse. As to the serious wishes, I vote for yours.

Awww, how cute about Captain and Frank.

I think many of us would like world peace, or at least the war to end in Ukraine. Other than that, I would like to spend one day with my grandmother and let her know how happy I am she gave me the incentive to learn and get my advanced degree. I would also like to be a good mixed media artist.

Forgot to mention that Captain was a beautiful cat.

Lovely picture of Captain. It's got to be a balm to your heart that he's still with you in some way.

I love all your wishes, Sandra.

Love your picture of Captain. Glad you can see his presence still. Loved seeing your wishes too.

My one wish to get my books published (I'm awaiting the results of another submission). I'd also wish for world peace.

Frivolous -- that blocks out peace for all time. Hmmm. Frivolous -- Trip to an art retreat or cooking retreat in England or France; new porch for the cottage; new kitchen here. Although a bi-weekly cleaning person would be nice! I'd probably take that over the cottage porch. The serious wishes are far more important, though. Loving the Captain. A handsome boy.

I like all your wishes, Sandra, the reaches as well as the more serious. You have to put the energy out there for wishes to come true, right?

I pray for your grandson Sandra. It is great to think of wishes. I don't let myself do that enough being of a practical nature haha.

I love all your wishes! I have to agree with the books going to number one :) I would like someone to market those books too! A housekeeper would be nice. Yes, health for all for those who are sick and peace and foid for the world. Well said. My hubby has been seeing a ghost cat around him lately. I just hear angels sing when he plays a certain song...;)

Ooh a marketing agent. That's a good one. I'd give up my nonexistent butler for that! :)
I would love to hear more about the ghost cat and angels singing.....Hint. Hint.

There are many of us that can really relate with that wish.
Here's hoping it goes from wish to reality soon.

Great frivolous and serious wishes.
Thanks, Jeanie.

Smiling. How about if we place a couple of wishes for ya?

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Adam. My only hesitation on a Tesla is I've heard replacing their batteries is very expensive.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Christine. I truly appreciate that.

He was for sure:)

Thank you, FSG. I appreciate that very much.

El mismo deseo de amazon, comer sin engordar y que mi casa se limpie sola. Te mando un beso.

I love your pussy cat photo and I believe he does smell your fur babe. I heard they have a keener sense of smell over dogs. Your pretty flowers are just so welcoming to see.
I’d love to no longer have to do taxes. I’d love to go to the Oscars in a haute couture gown, tasteful, meaning no boobs popping out or see through outfits but plenty of glitter including a beautiful sapphire necklace. Have all the DVD’s of old movies and have my hubby stop talking for 2 minutes. I’d love to see Putin be gone. He is a very, very dangerous man. People learn to pick up all the garbage and never litter and no more poaching or eating dogs, bear liver etc...

Sandra Cox said...

Birgit, those are all wonderful wishes, but I think you're going to need several genies. Hehe.
And yes, Putin is very, very dangerous. Besides, the Ukrainian atrocities, who goes around poisoning people? Seriously.

Sandra Cox said...

Heh. All good ones.
