Ketch-up Day

 Greetings Blogger Buds,

More rocks then back to our first day in DC.

The kids walk everywhere. Our feet are usually worn to nubs after spending a day with them:) This time we invested in walking shoes and held up much better:)

We started out at the Modern Art Museum. No surprise since they are both artists:)

I loved this one:)

Next week: The Natural History Museum.

AND

Sunday: Two weeks now of Covid, though the tests at least aren't lighting up like the above ball when I take them.

Monday:  Woo Hoo. Covid free.

And speaking of tests. For US citizens, Friday is the last day to get your free tests through the government: https://special.usps.com/testkits

Been to the Modern Art Museum? Taken a COVID test?

I love the dog image in about the middle of the photos. Interesting to hear your feet held up better with walking shoes. I need to get some. Good to know you are now clear and ok.

Looks like a fun museum. I have not had Covid, for which I am very thankful. I always have walking shoes for when I go walking. So much easier! Have a great week, hugs, Valeried

I'm so glad you're Covid free. Any lingering cough?? I need to get my 4th booster. I will do this Friday. Love that 2nd hunk of rock with the greens and pinks. Good shoes are a must. I have been to modern museums before but I don't think I have been to this one. It looks interesting and love the doggie ones.

I'm having trouble leaving comments, but I sure loved seeing you are now covid free. I've neer ordered covid tests before so thanks for the link.

Loved that museum, as wel as the one with the rocks. I LOVE visiting DC and going to all the museums. What a cheap (inexpensive) holiday when I go there. I get my museums fix and still have money to buy a tiny bag of shredded money at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. I loved your photos today, dear.

EC, It was fascinating and fun.
Andrew, That particular piece was lit with lights if I remember correctly. The walking shoes made a huge difference.
Thanks, Glad to be out from under the Covid.
Val, You certainly don't need Covid. Hugs
Adam, Washington is fascinating, isn't it?
Alex, Hopefully, it will be a nonissue, since you are so good about wearing a mask.
Thanks, Jamie. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Christine, It was for sure.
Birgit, thanks. No cough. Just tired and maybe a bit foggy. The museum was fun.

Elizabeth, Thank you! Sorry you are having problems leaving comments. Grrr.
We went by the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. Loved that you bought a bag of shredded money. You could use it in one of your pieces:) Or not.
Glad you liked the photos:)
Hugs

I haven't been to DC in a while, the last time I went was before the pandemic in the spring when the cherry blossoms were in bloom. It was beautiful.

I am glad you are Covid free. I have taken quite a few of those home tests and then driven through the pharmacy for a PCR. Not fun...

Stay safe and healthy.

I wouold love to go to the Hirschorn -- I've heard the collection is terrific, even though I'm not a huge modern fan... and yes. Covid tests. Somewhat regularly!
