Ketch-up Day

Did you have a pleasant weekend? Is your week shaping up to be a good one?

Not much news here. The kiddos had a good time at camp. We hooked up with some buds for lunch and that's always fun. What about you?

AND

In the garden.

It's puny. Doesn't like the heat at all. The weeds are still winning, but I'm slowly making inroads.

This cherry-green bloom is on the bottom of the blue hydrangea bush.

I thought the pattern on this leaf was interesting. Unfortunately, it's probably some sort of blight.

AND

From Pennsylvania

Thanks, Meghan and Jacob

From Illinois

Thanks, Allison

Wishing you a great one, blogger buds.

The weeds are winning here too. More work required. MUCH more work.

I like YOUR bunny better than mine, Yours doesn't nibble away at my herbs and veggies, Mine, on the other hand . . .

Your garden is suffering from the same heat I have here. Luckily most of my herbs are Mediterranean, and they love the sun and heat. Unlike me, I might add.

Love all your plants and your sweet bunny!

Great pictures. The weeds are always a struggle. I'm tackling mine better this year.

Love your photos and your clematis looks so lovely. I love the gnome home and the fairy quality. That pussy cat looking at the bird is hilarious. I hope the bird got away. We are finally seeing my hubby’s Aunt and Uncle who live right on the Richelieu River about an hour south of Montreal. Looking forward to relaxing.

EC, Right there with ya. The weeds are so much more tenacious than I:(
Elizabeth, Your bunny loves Elizabeth's Outdoor Cafe:)
Donna, My roses are puny this year. I didn't cut them back in the fall. Big mistake. Huge. Hugs received and returned.
Val, I love your balcony. Hugs received and returned.

Andrew, Isn't that a hoot?:)
Natalie, Darn weeds.
Birgit, The cat's on the inside, bird on the outside, so it's safe:) Hope you have a wonderful getaway.
Alex, Heh. Innit the truth:)

Nice garden photos. The weeds always win.

Your garden looks better than mine. That IS an interesting leaf. I was thinking it was the light but no, a pattern. I hope it isn't blight but I suspect you are right.

We attended the annual family gathering so it was fun catching up with everyone. I had lunch today with my friend, Teague. That's getting to be a weekly event. After much coaxing by Teague, I sent my RSVP for our 50th high school reunion in Sept. And we'll be celebrating the Young One's birthday on Friday as well as having a traveling groomer coming to the house to trim Calli and Quill's murder mittens.

Christine, Innit the truth.
Jeanie, It does look like dappled light, doesn't it?
CJ, Ooh lunch sounds like fun. Hope you enjoy your high school reunion this fall. Happy Bday to the young one. Let us know how it goes with the traveling groomer. Frank went to the vet...that was an interesting one.
