It's Ketch-Up Day

Did you have a good weekend? How goes your week?

It's been pretty quiet here. Frank of course, is always on guard against intruders in the backyard.

Except when he's sleeping, which is about fifty percent of the time:)

What do you do with your crock pots when they die? Here's my brother's solution. That's stevia by the way. I'd love to grow some if I could find it.

AND

Okay, mushroom aficionados.  What kind of mushroom is this?

That's it, folks. Short post today.

I am clueless about the mushroom - but not tempted by it.
Where does the water drain from the crockpot?

Glad Frank is guarding your home. My dog, Ellie Mae, guards mine. Sorry, I don't know about the mushroom.

No idea on mushroom. Probably poisonous.

It is called Boletes. It’s a type of fungi. There are many types and some can be eaten but many can’t and can cause stomach upsets and are poisonous but not considered fatal. I saved the image and looked it up on “Picture This” which is an app about ll types of plants. I think you would love it. I was cleaning my craft room which was a major undertaking but I’m almost done and can start making cards again.

EC, Heh on the mushroom. I don't know what the bro did, but you can put pebbles or Styrofoam peanuts in the bottom for drainage.
Thanks, Donna. You have a sweet day too. Hugs received and returned.
Natalie, Yay Ellie Mae. Love the name:)
Alex, Probably.
Hey, Birgit. Thanks for looking that up. Much appreciated. I'm intrigued by that site.
Val, Frank thanks you and agrees. Heh. Yup. Wouldn't touch that mushroom either. Hugs received and returned.

My dog Casey also guards our yard from the upstairs patio. What a lion-hearted Lab!

Frank is especially looking for intruders who look a bit like him.

I've no idea what the mushroom is and it is not one I would eat, and mushrooms are rather topical here at the moment. https://www.theage.com.au/national/third-person-dies-after-ingesting-poisonous-mushrooms-in-victoria-20230806-p5du7q.html

Am I wrong or does Frank have a bit of a poodle cut? His leg looks partially hairy and partially not! Love that he's a cat-guard!
