Did You Know

Did you know, that Purdue University has come up with a paint so white that if enough roofs were painted with it, and it would take a lot, the earth wouldn't absorb more heat than it was emitting. It reflects 98.1 percent of the sun's rays, not to mention it would save on AC bills.

Want to learn more: Scientists created the world's whitest paint. It could eliminate the need for air conditioning. (yahoo.com)

I suspect it would hurt the eyes to look at it.

Wow! I'll have to tell Himself because Purdue is where he got his Master's degree in Chemistry.

I did know. White paint or a grassed roof helps our environment. Maybe not your roof could be painted white, but our apartment building roof could be.

Birgit, I'm not sure, but it is amazing isn't it. It could drastically slow down global warming.

We really need to start paying attention to the scientists more! I mean, I do, and probably most of your readers do... but the world at large, and especially governments.
