It's Ketch-Up Day

Did you have a good weekend? Week going well so far?

We are perking along. The HH is going to have back surgery in December. And speaking of, he surprised me with these. Pretty cute, hey?

AND

I saw this in the grocery store and thought of former blogger, Ro. She loved/loves cheeseburgers. Aren't they a hoot?

AND

I found these empty nests in the yard. Had no idea they were there till after the fact.

This one I found on the ground.

This one was hiding in the butterfly bush and is quite hard to see.

AND

We still have butterflies, which bring me quiet joy.

AND

A few last summer flowers.

AND

Maisy

AND

From New York

Thanks, Jacob.

AND last but not least a correction. Remember this pic? I said it was from Virginia. It was actually from California.  I was confused.😕

Have a great one, friends.

VERY cute gifts.
Hooray for flutterbyes. And birds' nests. And flowers.

PS: I hope the surgery goes well and eliminates his problems.

Love the gifts you got from your hubby. I wish him good luck with the back surgery. I will probably have to have my spinal canal poked at or something sooner or later. Preferably later! Love the nests! Hugs, Valerie

I love the Ink on your spoon rest. Your husband is definitely a keeper. I saw some butterflies while I was at Enders. Maisy is adorable. Love that little black spot on her chin. Is she new to your family?

I hope your husband's surgery goes well. That's so cool that you still have butterflies. I had more in my backyard this year.

Cat sign is funny and the one photo very spooky.
Now that's a cheeseburger I would eat.

I love the edjicated cat in the first photo.

I remember how Ro loved cheeseburgers, and her wise posts about domestic violence and abuse.

Maisy is gorgeous hopefully by nature too.

The empty nest..Empty nesters has a significant meaning here. I wonder if you know what it means? It could well be that the term came from your country anyway.

What a collection, Sandra. I can't believe September is almost over. Best to hubby with his surgery.

LOVE the gifts your husband gave you. I MISS RO! I am not n Instagram, so can't know what she is doing anymore. LOVE those cheeseburger cakes, though.

Maisy is a doll. Wow. Those empty nests are signs they are no longer needed.

All the best with your hubby's surgery.

EC, Hooray indeed and thank you. Hugs,
Yikes, Val. That does not sound like fun. Please keep me posted. There's just something about birds nests, isn't there? Hugs received and returned.
CJ, Ink does Halloween well:) We've had Maisy nearly a year. She's one of the ferals we fostered and ended up keeping:)
Natalie, Thank you for the well wishes. Butterflies are just so uplifting, aren't they?
Alex, Agreed and agreed and with ya on the cheeseburger;)

What a wonderful husband you have. Those are great gifts! And I loved the flowers and all the photos. Especially the butterflies. Very lucky you!

Thanks, Andrew. I got a kick out of that sign too. Ro was a wonderful advocate against domestic violence and abuse wasn't she? Maisy is very sweet when she's not in fear mode. She's still feral. Unfortunately. Here Empty Nesters, of which we've been for a long time, means when the kids leave home. Same there?
Jacqui, Thank you. Yes, hard to believe its almost October.
Jamie, Aren't those cheeseburger cakes a hoot?
Thank you, Di. I sure hope he does heal quickly.
Elizabeth, I miss Ro too and am also not on Instagram so I'm not keeping up with her like I'd like too. Maisy is a mix of sweet and feral.
Thank you, Christine;)
Yeah, I think I'll keep him. Heh. Love the butterflies and they love the butterfly bush:)

What cute cat trinkets! Beautiful flowers.

I never would have known that wasn't Virginia. Looked Viriginia-ish to me!

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks;)
On the picture, I know. Right? Looked just like where we were staying.

Your hubby has fantastic taste. I hope the surgery brings him relief. What great photos. Love you still have butterflies and nests :) That is Scotts Flat Lake a favorite place of mine. Xo

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, J.P. Sending you hugs.
Thanks, Denise. You would not believe how much Scotts Flat Lake looks like the part of Virginia we were in.

Oh boy! That’s major surgery and I hope…no, I know, everything will go just fine. You just have to find ways to rest since you are the main caregiver. Love the pics and I saw the nest. It’s supposed to get very warm this week…not good.
