It sounds as if you would use it instead of cute or similar, whereas I would use it more as a criticism, meaning perhaps, too cute, or, overdone.
I am with Andrew. Overly cute. And no, I didn't know Barbie's full name.
Sounds like a term that originated in Valley Talk or some such lexicon of saccharine cuteness. I had not heard of the word, yet now knowing its meaning I will try to insert it into a sentence. Here goes: “Our walk this morning was enlivened by chattering jays and agitated chickadees - how twee they all are!” Despite my vast storehouse of knowledge, I was ignorant of Barbie’s complete name; mostly I am ignorant of Barbie!
Never heard the word before, so it was new to me. Laughed at Barbie's full name. Who knew. Not me!
Twee--that's another new one to me.

Hi Sandra - yes Barbie defeats me ... but then so did Harry Potter and mostly he still does. Twee - I do now it ... but I'd add a 't' at the end - though I'm not keen on those either ... cheers Hilary
My little Lexi.my cat, is so twee when she sleeps. I think it means cute or sweet.i had heard about Barbie having a full name but never knew it. I k ow she was named after the creater's daughter. Have a great day!
