Skinny Jeans

You may remember on an early blog, I mentioned the HH and I both fast twice a week? Well, he's gone down two pant sizes. The other day he caught someone checking him out and he asked me--tongue in cheek--if I thought he should get skinny jeans. Thinking that was pretty funny, I sent it out to the fam and my brother sent back this trailer asking if he was at this point yet.

I fast every day all my life and I'm still a fat walrus... I will die one day fat and hungry :) I remember that Seinfeld episode

So, the big question. Is your DH at that point yet? :-D

Hi, Sandra! Most of my life I ate like a horse and never gained an ounce. My aunt irritated me by always calling me "skinny." In the 70s I wore those tight fitting designer jeans and slacks and looked good in them. Nowadays I need to count calories and exercise vigorously to avoid weight gain.

Mrs. Shady and I love Seinfeld and recently started watching the series from the beginning on NetFlix. It took two or three seasons before the characters fully evolved and the chemistry and comedic timing reached its peak. This clip, following Kramer's story line through an episode, had me laughing out loud.

Happy Tuesday, dear friend Sandra!

Nooooooooo man should EVER wear skinny jeans. Oh good god, no, for the love of everything good, NO!

But that's just how I feel. To each their own thang :-)

Almost no one looks good in skinny jeans.
Congratulations to your husband for losing weight.

I got stuck in a pair of skinny jeans in a shop changing room once. It took a while, and some help from a friend, to escape :-(

Thanks, Yvonne. I thought Jerry trying to help him out of the skinny jeans was a hoot.

Yes indeed. grin.

You most certainly are not a walrus, silly.

Not quite, though getting into a pair of 38s is his idea of skinny jeans. grin.

Happy Tuesday, Shady. Yeah, I used to wear the tight ones too.
Now its all about comfort:)

Heh heh. Probably goes for no woman either. Did see some women have ended up in emergency from wearing them?
As I mentioned to CJ, the HH's idea of skinny jeans is fitting into a pair of 38s grin.

I remember that episode! Skinny jeans, nope, not for me. I can't even stand regular jeans anymore after wearing looser work pants for years. I feel like I'm suffocating, even in ones that technically fit.

Grin. Don't blame you:)

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Alex. He's been working hard at it.

Sandra Cox said...

That's too funny:)

I hear ya, Cherie. I'm all about comfort these days.

OMG-Too funny!! I have been there although not as severe. What's funny is that, yesterday I was in a store and they had all these different leggings including ones that looked like jeans....one size fits all. I pictured myself as a mushroom in one of those things. Needless to say I did not buy one
