I couldn't watch. When our cats have gone over that bridge they took part of me with them. And my eyes still leak.

I so hope this exists and that our beloved pets are happy over there.

Good morning, dear Sandra! I am very familiar with that video and the Rainbow Bridge poem. Two years ago when our beloved dog Toto needed to be put down, I received a greeting card from the veterinary office that included the comforting (and tear-jerking) story of Rainbow Bridge. I still miss my dog and I will always love her.

A very moving tribute, but I couldn't watch most of it either, because thinking about pets we've loved and lost makes me too sad. :-(

Never easy to lose a pet, great video indeed though

Hate losing pets.

Very cute but definitely stings. I've had and lost a lot of pets in my lifetime and it just reminds me of all of them.

Oh my goodness, my Katie girl comes rushing back into my head and seeing her wag her tail and come to me and lay her head on my lap. This is sweet but hard to watch. Waaaaaaaayyyyy. I need to go home now and hug my fur babies.

I can already tell that one will make me cry. I can't even read the Rainbow Bridge poem without crying like a baby.

This is very sweet and poignant at the same time. Pets are such a wonderful part of our families.

I can completely empathize on that one, EC.

I see no reason to think it doesn't:)

Sandra Cox said...

Sounds like they're pretty important in the scheme of things for you, Dez.
Me too.

I understand. It's losing a member of the family. Hugs.

I understand, Misha.

You're right, Pat. It is very difficult.

I recently lost my dog and my cat and am still a bit raw from it all. This video was beautiful (what I could watch). So hard to lose part of our families. I hope my beloved Bill and Jack are having fun somewhere over the rainbow. :)

It doesn't get easier does it.

How long did you have Katie, Birgit?

Sandra Cox said...

Me too, Steph.

Sandra Cox said...

They are definitely part of the family aren't they.

Sandra Cox said...

I'm so sorry, Jess. I trust they are having a blast.
Hugs,

I had my girl for 13 years. She was so much fun and so sweet. When there was a thunderstorm, she would go upstairs where my mom lived to stay with her since my mom hated thunderstorms
