Tuesday

Why is the dog here?
Because the cat is here:)
And yes that is plastic on the couch. It keeps a certain Monster Kitty that shall remain nameless from clawing at it.

AND...
A friend of ours--a sassy, spunky Southern gal who shall also remain nameless--recently broke up with her significant other because he was around too much.  He was 'there when she left and there when she got back'.  We got quite a kick out of this since that's what most folks are looking for in a relationship. Someone that is there. Any-hoo, the HH was leaving for his tutoring gig and told me he'd probably be home around six.
I said, "I'll probably be here."
And he said, "You're here when I leave and you're here when I get back."

Is it wrong of me to be a bit pleased that other people also live with a destructo cat?

Maybe HH would like some time alone at home?

Aw, adorable doggie and kitty! Couch destruction certainly doesn't sound ideal; glad you found a way to prevent that, haha!

I guess you need to get a dog bed for the cat.
I have a friend who always complained about his girlfriends like that. Said they just wanted to spend time with him. Needless to say, he's still single to this day.

Sounds like your friend got tired of her relationship.

And THAT is why Rick and I live in separate houses!

Love the photo!

I love the photos and our Wallace has been relegated to the floor due to our one pussy cat who is quite small. Your cat is huge! Not in a fat way but just a big cat. Too funny. If the woman you know is leaving her spouse because he is always home, they need marriage counselling. There is more to that story. I do get it as my hubby is around24/7 and it can get tough. I love it when he leaves for a few hours and I think we need this. I was used to, all my adult life that I was home and my ex, when I was with him, was at work and didn’t come home until after 9pm. My present sweet hubby used to work afternoons so I saw home only for a few minutes during the week and we got all caught up on the weekend which I loved. I could do what I wanted and watch what I wanted. Since he can’t work any more, due to sever rheumatoid arthritis, he is always home. It takes an adjustment but you adjust unless there is more to the story which I think there is.

We're in the same club. I've got a lot of broken dishes to back up my membership:)

I hate when people are like that, unless said person literally had nothing else to do.

haha - I had to laugh about the plastic on the couch my mother did that to keep her cats from destroying it.

I just got a new couch and already Squiggles thinks it's his new scratching post. I feel for you and your couch.

HMMM. Your HH might know best.

Frank is a big boy. Comes from eating his Wheaties. Ha.
They weren't married, just in a relationship.
Everyone needs some downtime for sure.

I'm here all the time...and when I leave...I leave! :)

My two furry mates are here all the time, too...but when I leave, they stay...but they know I won't be gone for long!
