Did you know, legend has it that carnelian was used to guard the dead on their journey to their next life?
*Carnelian is a red, pink or orange, translucent stone.
AND...In honor of RAK week, if you live in the US or the UK (I think...) help yourself to a free download of FLOWER GARDENS AND MORE.

No Sandra sisn't know, Enjoy your Thursday.
Take care.
Yvonne.
You frequently remind me just how much I don't know. Thank you for your generosity and for educating me each week.
Lol, I thought you misspelt chameleon or it was a different US spelling. I wouldn't mind a pretty rock to accompany me to the grave, except I will be burnt to cinders. Maybe the Carnelian can be reused.
Nope, had literally no idea 😛
You come up with the most interesting facts, and thank you for your generosity.
That stone would be good to have.
Yay! Word searches are always such fun. Hope you're safe and well! Hugs, RO
Never even heard of carnelian.
appreciate the offer of the download Sandra, thanx for that. !!!
going to see if I can sneak the word search onto this work PC !! ☺☺♥♥
The stones you can buy in fantasy shops all have something to them. This one is pretty cool actually. I wonder if archeologists found them in burial plots. I found all the words but "Dried" kept me going for a bit.
I didn't know:) Thank for th4 book gift. It's one I didn't have on my TBR list! Xo
Indeed:)
Thanks, Yvonne.
Right back at ya:)
Thanks, Val.
You too;)
Thanks, EC. I feel badly that the countdowns and freebies aren't offered to a wider market. I. E. Australia.
And you educate us on on Aussie birds, gardens, animals and architecture. So thank you.
I didn't know that :)
All the best Jan
I didn't even know there was a stone called "carnelian"!
No sabia eso , gracias por el link y suerte con el libro. Te mando un beso
I did not know that.
Love,
Janie
I learned to new things from that (the second was what a carnelian was!)
You know, that's a nice thought. You can leave your jewelry to the fam and still take a pretty with you. I might have to think about doing that. Did you know when Lord Byron was 'burnt to cinders' his heart survived?
AND no reason why you should:)
Thank you and you're most welcome.
We are, Rockin Ro. Hope you are as well.
Hugs received and returned.
I'm getting that a lot:)
My pleasure, FSG:)
