It's Tuesday

 Third time's the charm.

As you probably remember, last week we got to the drive through clinic, at 8:00 a.m., for a vac and got turned away. This time we got to the clinic before 6:30 a.m. thinking this would get us in with no problems. It was a bit of a shock to see the long line of cars already waiting.

We persevered and got our numbers. There were 250 folks ahead of us.

After a five hour wait, we got our vaccines:) Yay!

AND...

Poor tulips. They must not have been listening to Punxsutawney Phil's prediction of six more weeks of winter.

AND...Speaking of tulips. The HH surprised me with these.

AND...We got unexpected snow.

What about you, blogger bud? Got tulips? Got your vaccine? Got snow?

Yay for the vaccine. We are way out at the moment. Probably by the end of this year.

No tulips. No vaccine. Definitely no snow. It was about 70 degrees today.

Love,
Janie

I am so pleased that you finally got the vaccine.
No snow here, and no tulips. Other spring bulbs are emerging - way too early, before our summer is done.

Love me some snow, tulips & a cat but unfortunately... 🤷‍♂️

Don't have any of those in my life right now! 😏

No snow here, of course. No vaccine until next month. By our standards, fairly priced very open and beautiful tulips for sale today for $10 a bunch. They would only last a day but gosh it was a tempting buy.

That's awesome you got vaccinated. I won't be 65 till summer and doubt I'll get vaccinated until then. I can't wait.

Five hour wait is crazy. They really need to do those by appointment.

What a queue! Glad you waited it out and got jabbed.

We had a flake or two of snow this morning (literally), but it's definitely cold enough. The 'beast from the east' is blowing across the UK, but I'm in the south west, and we're very sheltered by Siberian winds down here.

Snow. Yes. Vaccine. Yes (well, the first). Tulips? In my dreams! (A good note to remember -- have a full tank when you go to the vaccine drive thru.)

I’m glad you finally got them despite the wait. We have snow for sure...snowing now and it looks so pretty.your pussy cat is so cute.

Wow five hour wait! Happy you got your shot, though. I'm on the waiting list, they will email to schedule an appointment but no idea when. Beautiful tulips:) I'm watching for our daffodils to break through, although I'm sure my daughter's energetic puppy will put a stop to any flowers. I think its fence time around my roses at least.

Let's hope they get things sped up and everyone vaccinated.

70 sounds lovely. It's nice out today but heading toward cold in the future.

It's a relief.
My poor tulips are way too early also. Guess, like us, they just want to feel the sun on their faces.

Oh the poor tulips! We have lots of snow here. Glad the long wait was worth it. :)

There's just something about tulips that lift the heart, isn't there, Andrew?

How can you be approaching 65 when you look 25?:)

No vaccine here, but I have tulips in my room and we have loads of snow, I've and floods! Hugs, Valerie

great you got your vaccine, did you get an appointment for the 2nd shot? We have to wait for more vaccines to arrive in Canada.

5 hours! Wow girl, so happy you got it! Thanks for the information about your getting Moderna! That's the one I am looking into! Love your tulips and Frank in the snow! LOL! So cute! I'm feeling great, thank you!!!!! Taking care of myself! No word on the operation, yet! Big Hugs!

I hear ya on critter and flower issues.
A fence around the roses sounds like an excellent idea.

That was a long wait...but worth it.

No tulips here...no snow...and no vaccine...yet. From what I heard, I think...on the news earlier...the first lot of vaccine arrives in Aus today.

Take good care, Sandra. :)

Uy me alegro por ustedes. Aun en mi país solo se vacuna al personal sanitario. Te mando un beso

Sandra Cox said...

Indeed. I think that's the game plan for future vaccines.

I've never heard 'beast from the east'. Love it:)

Sandra Cox said...

Definitely, on the full tank of gas. We sat without heat quite a bit to save gas:)

Sandra Cox said...

I bet your area is beautiful in snow.
Yes, I was thrilled to get the first vaccine, even with the wait.

So pleased you got your vac Sandra, still awaiting to see if I can have one.
Take care.

Oh yes. Thank you:)

Sandra Cox said...

I'm glad you have tulips in your room:)
Hugs received and returned.

Sandra Cox said...

We were told they would call us for an appointment, when it's due. We'll see....

Hope all goes smoothly when you get yours. I believe Pfizer and Moderna are pretty similar. Have you heard differently? I believe Japan is having some syringe shortage issues for Pfizer.

Sandra Cox said...

Thank you so much, Yvonne.
Hope you get yours squared away soon.

Sandra Cox said...

Hope yours goes smoother and quicker but it was definitely worth the wait.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, J. P. Hope everyone in your country is given one soon.
Hugs,

They are similar, it's just the different affects I have heard on people, with allergies.

Hi Sandra - got my jab on date and time ... I would not wait 5 hours! I congratulate the two of you for that. No snow now, daffodils not tulips! All the best - Hilary
