Did You Know

Did you know, that if your freezer bag is just a tiny bit too small, you can put the object you wanted in the freezer bag inside one bag, take another freezer bag and turn it inside out. Put the two together and then zip them shut, tongue and grove method, and you have doubled the size of your freezer bag.

Interesting. I will have to try and remember that.

The meerkats have totally confused me. You put this bag inside this one to do what? A rhetorical question.

Hi Sandra - I think I'd do that anyway ... cheers Hilary

Gotcha...Going to try it now...

Okay, well...Lolol...Never could get the bags secured well...not air tight...I suppose you could store things like napkins or gloves in them...took me about 10 minutes to put together...Larry came in with coffee wanting to know if we'd suddenly become poor...why didn't I just buy the right size bag to begin with...Lololol.
Good idea if you truly need it...Thanks for the idea though!
hugs
Donna

I've done this but have to make sure it real is closed. It would close completely around my steak so I wrapped it in tin foil

EC, It works, but it's a bit of a pain;)
Andrew, Heh.
Thumbs up, Hils.
Jamie, It is, isn't it?
Birgit, Yeah, it's hard to get the seal.

Donna, Ha. Larry is so funny. Good on you for trying it out.
CJ, Indeed.
Jeanie, I found it intriguing.
Jan, You are most welcome. It does take a bit of time to get the tongue and groove lined up.
