Did You Know

Did you know, the original color purple was made from the secretions of a rare sea snail and became the royal color, not only because of its vibrant hues, but because only the rich could afford it.

If you would have asked me this question I would have been guessing but I did know this answer from watching documentaries. I watched a nature show a d they spoke of this sea creature and I also recall watching about the British royals and why purple is royal.
