Ketch-up Tuesday

How are you?

This week is busy, busy, busy here.

Being from the Midwest, I'm always stunned to see daffies blooming in February. They are cropping up everyone and the robins are out in number. Spring has got to be right around the corner. Here's our first. Pretend you don't see the weeds that are cropping up as well.

And, of course, the Christmas/Lenten roses. (Helleborus)

AND

More snow in Colorado.

Thanks, Julie.

What's the weather like there?

It's cold here-in the 30's. Living in Michigan all my life, I can't imagine flowers at this time of the year.

Flowers starting to sprout here.

I'm in California, and have not seen any flowers yet, as far as I know. It's been raining off and on the last few weeks, so could be happening soon? Don't know.

I was also surprised at the daffs in Feb. It is cold here one day, then warmer the next. No wonder so many of my friends are sick. Mother Nature is off her meds!! Enjoy your false spring, dear.

Andrew, Hellebore covers the major holiday, doesn't it? ;)
Donna, Yay, sunshine. Hugs received and returned.
Natalie, I know. Right?

Alex, Yay.
Jamie, Agreed. Soon.
Hold on, CJ. Springs coming....
Christine, They're everywhere in the neighborhood.
Elizabeth, Mother Nature can't make up her mind can she?

It’s been crazy warm here until today when I saw snow but just a few flakes.

Those daffs are pretty. We've had an unseasonably warm winter, which means no snow and temps higher than normal. This morning it's 27 but it's supposed to be high 30s or low 40s later in the day. It's very weird. I don't mind it (my bulbs are popping up) but it's freaky.

Happy Valentine's Day, Birgit. Snow flakes. Brrr.
Jeanie, Low forties doesn't sound bad. Happy Valentine's.
