Howbeit (a word I haven't come across) it being an example of 'misplaced' priorities I like the idea of a cat at a formal dinner.

I thought it was a greeting, like How's it going? How be it? Good thanks.

This one is new to me. I will ponder it for a while and try to come up with a “belle phrase” using it.

I don't think I've heard of Howbeit, but I have heard all be it used in the same manner.

Fun to think of the cat at the state dinner. Would have been more fun if the cat was a Tuxie.

Hi Sandra - sounds like Lincoln wasn't feeding his cat enough - can we have him up for animal cruelty today?!?!?!? As for that non word ... I'd say they should learn to speak English and write it properly ... again ... ???!?!?!?!?? Cheers Hilary

Howbeit, I thought it was asking how you are. I love that a car was at formal dinner. Hugs xo

I’m very fond of animals, Abe, howbeit not on the table. I stay out of the cat’s dining space and it should stay out of mine. Otherwise, it may find itself in a new home.

I've heard people say, albeit, but not...throughbeit.
