    1. Poor thing. Black cats have enough problems without adding the scare appeal to it.

  3. I could cuddle it. I'm the cat whisperer.

    1. Hi Diane, I hadn't seen them until I started looking for a W cat. I was a bit surprised:)

  5. Hi, dear Sandra!

My black dog used to sit in the window on Halloween night and bark at trick-or-treaters when they came to the door. The werewolf cat would do an even better job of creating a spooky mood on fright night. I find that the "uglier" a creature is, the more I love it, because I know it probably doesn't get its share.

    Happy Wednesday, dear friend Sandra!

    1. Good for you, Shady. I've never understood the attitude among people about cats, birds, wildlife that if it's ugly it doesn't deserve to live. And believe it or not some people espouse this. (Shoot starlings, kill possums, they are ugly.)

    1. Not I....until I started researching.

  7. Now that is weird, but interesting. What will breeders come up with next? A vampire cat with extra long fangs?

  8. So wrong in my humble opinion. I agree with Jeanie above in that this poor cat looks unwell.

  9. Some people should leave well enough alone. Really? geez

    1. I think black cats have a hard enough row to hoe without adding the eerie.

    2. Though, Blue could turn that thinking around in a manner positive for the cat:)

  11. That is not a cute cat! It looks to me like a case of taking things a bit too far.

  13. Hope the lack of fur doesn't cause problems either.

  14. I'm not keen on werewolf anything, so I'll stick with the furrier type.

  15. The lack of fur might be a good thing when I'm knee deep in summer grooming, but that poor cat doesn't stand a chance. I feel sorry for it. In my opinion, the breeders should have their license revoked! But I would probably adopt it, since I had a cat named dog that acted like one, too.

    1. I have no doubts you would take it in if it was a creature in need. I wish everyone was as kind-hearted as the blogger buds.
I'm sure I would have enjoyed Dog:)

  16. Aw! Had no idea there was such a thing as a werewolf cat. I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but I don't think they're ugly at all!

    1. I don't think they're ugly, but I wish they hadn't gone for the scary look. Black cats get a bad rap and this might make it worse. But I'm glad you like them. They need to be liked:)

  17. How very strange...people take breeding way too far sometimes.

  18. Ok I will say it here and then in your next post...I am so sorry, I tried to copy and paste the pictures and it wasn't taking. I don't know what I was doing wrong but it didn't work and I feel bad. As for this poor pussy cat...it deserves love because it can't help that it was created like this. Humans need to stop fiddling around

Don't worry, Birgit. It's not a big deal. Maybe we can show your buds at a later date.
