How curious that this is part of "the Harrell Family Chronicles." My maternal grandparents were Harrells. I don't see that name very often. It's a lovely cover.

I've heard that that's true that people have to work on their own personal issues first. Many people think that their relationships (or just a relationship in general) will "fix" them, but often their unresolved issues can cause problems in those relationships.
