AND it's also butterfly time.
Instead of taking new pics of the beauties fluttering around the butterfly bushes, I'm going to recycle pictures of their parents and grandparents.
Well....I couldn't find any of the black swallowtails so I went out and snapped pics again. I don't even want to say who I think is responsible for the partially missing wing. Sigh.

I had pumpkin waffles topped with peanut butter. The mix was from Trader Joe's and had a more cake-like texture than mixes I've had in the past. The flavor was purrfect. Not too spicy, with a soft hint of pumpkin.

I did see a beautiful butterfly flying around about two weeks ago.
As for any statuary in our garden, we don't have any.
I used to love eating waffles, but I don't believe I've ever had that type of waffle or one with peanut butter on it. Looks good!

Aside from Monarch butterflies that some years are plentiful here as they breed below, we don't see butterflies at this height. I laughed at your opening statement. I wonder if we could just go back to our old photos and repost them as new and no one would notice.
As long as that butterfly can still fly...
I put peanut butter on my waffles as well! Only way to eat them.

I love your garden and so happy to see butterfly bushes. We have 4 of them, 2 in the back and 2 in our front. We get a lot Of Monarchs and I have seen the black butterflies and we also get these smaller butterflies that are mainly black but have orange in them. Very pretty butterflies! Sad that one of them lost a little bit of it's wing. We get butterflies rarely, but they do come out. The waffles do sure look purrfect! :) Have a great week!

Maybe it's a regional thing. I've not seen may regular swallowtails, but we get the black ones all the time.

Beautiful butterflies...and beautiful Callie. :)
I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
