It's Tuesday

AND it's also butterfly time.

Instead of taking new pics of the beauties fluttering around the butterfly bushes, I'm going to recycle pictures of their parents and grandparents.

Well....I couldn't find any of the black swallowtails so I went out and snapped pics again. I don't even want to say who I think is responsible for the partially missing wing. Sigh.

AND...Callie doing a bit of butterfly watching.

 AND In The Garden

 AND In The Kitchen

I had pumpkin waffles topped with peanut butter. The mix was from Trader Joe's and had a more cake-like texture than mixes I've had in the past.  The flavor was purrfect.  Not too spicy, with a soft hint of pumpkin.

AND

What about you, blogger buds? Got butterflies? Garden statuary? Waffles?

Stunning photos.
Yes to garden statuary (though not as classic as yours). No to waffles. Or cake.
Happy birthday Adam.

Those butterflies are beautiful, and that's a nice picture of Callie gazing out the window!

I did see a beautiful butterfly flying around about two weeks ago.

As for any statuary in our garden, we don't have any.

I used to love eating waffles, but I don't believe I've ever had that type of waffle or one with peanut butter on it. Looks good!

Aside from Monarch butterflies that some years are plentiful here as they breed below, we don't see butterflies at this height. I laughed at your opening statement. I wonder if we could just go back to our old photos and repost them as new and no one would notice.

As long as that butterfly can still fly...
I put peanut butter on my waffles as well! Only way to eat them.

Happy Birthday to Awesome Adam! My goodness, those pics of the butterflies are simply stunning, and the purple one is my fave. Something about seeing them just makes me feel at peace. Years ago, I remember when one landed on my finger and hung out for awhile, and I loved it! Hugs to you Super Sandra, and we thank you! RO

You have a lot of butterflies. If I see one, I'm thrilled. Yours are beautiful.

I love your garden and so happy to see butterfly bushes. We have 4 of them, 2 in the back and 2 in our front. We get a lot Of Monarchs and I have seen the black butterflies and we also get these smaller butterflies that are mainly black but have orange in them. I love the yellow one and I think I saw that one in our garden too. Hope you have a great and cool day. Happy Birthday to Adam!

Very pretty butterflies! Sad that one of them lost a little bit of it's wing. We get butterflies rarely, but they do come out. The waffles do sure look purrfect! :) Have a great week!

Don't you love butterflies? Just watching them makes me happy. And instills a strong desire to fly:)
I'm glad you saw a butterfly.
I was pleasantly surprised at what a good mix this was.
Thanks for stopping by and have a grand day.

Maybe it's a regional thing. I've not seen may regular swallowtails, but we get the black ones all the time.

Gorgeous butterfly pics. I haven't seen too many butterflies in my garden. Always exciting to see them. And isn't it a little too early for pumpkin spice? There's still a month and a half left of Summer. 😉

Thanks, EC:)
Hope your day is filled with sparkle and purrfect weather. Not too hot and not too cold.

A patch missing here or there doesn't seem to slow them down, thank goodness.
YAY! Someone else who likes peanut butter on their waffles.

Hope you are having a pleasant, pain free day.

I hate that he lost a bit of wing and I fear Frank is to blame but thank goodness it didn't slow him down.
Thanks on the waffles. I think they're going to become a regular staple in my diet:) Heh.

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
