It's Tuesday

 Greetings Blogger Buds,

How are you. Ready for the holidays? We're getting closer.

As threatened promised here's some sky pics of our journey home from Philly.  The first picture particularly fascinated me.  The sky is usually visible with a handful of clouds. At one point on our way home the sky was barely visible because of cloud saturation.

This was the traffic for a good portion of the way home.

Sunset

The critters

enticed by a bird on the porch.

Callie hiding under the covers, but Franky, great sleuth that he is, found her.

Frank under the tree

And last but not least, my daughter--no doubt tired of hearing me moan about not having a holly tree--bought me one.

What's going on in your corner of the world, blogger buds?

Love your skyscapes and your critters. Sigh at the traffic.
I am still in manic mode. And waiting anxiously for Boxing Day - which to my eyes is the best part of Christmas. The fuss is over, I can point hungry people to the fridge and will luck I have a new book to settle down with...

Hi Sandra - oh gosh travelling ... I've almost forgotten what it's like! That sky is beautiful. Excellent a holly tree or bush ... so many berries on ours here. I'm fortunate I go to family, so just enjoying what we can in these times, under gloomy skies! But next week could be clear skies and then cold! All the best as you wind down to release from work ... cheers Hilary

I live in Michigan so we have a lot of cloudy days. Loved the picture of the sunset. Glad you're home safely.

Love all of these pix, especially the animals! We had a great sunset last night and the past few days have been sunny, if cloudy, and unseasonably warm (which would probably seem cold to you -- but I'll take high 40s versus 30s or below!). Just trying to keep on top of things. And not doing all that well with that task!

That is a ton of traffic.

Rocko and Spunky used to play that game. Spunky would be under the blanket and Rocko would seize the opportunity. (She was half his size and he always beat up on her.)

I feel your pain, been there done that. For whatever reason, we are in pretty good shape this year. Probably from the scare to order gifts early to make sure they arrive on time.

Yes, traveling can be stressful for sure.
Sounds like you live close to your family, Hils.
Aren't holly bushes wondrous? We had a holly tree/bush by our house where we used to live and I loved it. Trying to figure out where to plant this one.
Happy Holidays.

Thank you.
Counting on you staying afloat.
Hugs received and returned.

Some great pictures. Been raining in my area the last two days.

I am officially done decorating. Mostly done shopping. Now for the wrapping and baking.

Love the pics! Animals are so entertaining. I love your super sleuth. LOL

Enjoyed your photos today! Great news on your own holly tree. I have some fake branches on display.

Thanks, Natalie:)

Your area has beautiful sunsets, doesn't it?
When it comes to keeping on top of things, you just don't want to make the rest of us feel bad:)

Typical:)

Send some of that rain our way, okay?:)

They definitely have entertainment value, that's for sure;)

Glad you enjoyed them. At least those branches won't die on you:)

Nice photos, Sandra :) i always love seeing the fur babies! We've been seeing a lot of clouds on vacation and at home. In the middle of storms, and hope to have our power back tomorrow night. Then my thoughts turn to what's left to do for Christmas. Hugs xo

Not sure you'll even see this comment, Sandra because I completely missed this one. That sky shot is amazing. The traffic looks like a typical evening on any Los Angeles freeway. Sorry you had to put up with that.

Frank, the investigator. Always love seeing him in action (or not).

Thank you.
Heh.

Sorry to hear you are without power, but glad your soil and fauna are getting a good wetting.

What was so bizarre about the traffic was that it was out in the middle of nowhere and was like that a good piece of our way home.
Heh, about Frank.

No holidaying for me...every day is a holiday, anyway....enjoyable times spent with my two furry best mates. I have no desire to go anywhere, leaving them. I'd rather stick with them! :)

I just can’t believe that traffic! My mouth dropped open...was there a crash?? I hope not. I do love sky pics because they just seem so amazing to me. Love the pussy cats and the one under the tree. I’m glad your daughter bought you that plant. I’d love. Holly plant for our yard. I am all better from my operation but did too much walking last Thursday and with the decorating and walking around the mall today, I did way too much, joint wise, but I feel so happy that I can do this all now.
