Conned. Which is unfair on the bird.
My first thought was the gull of someone or the nerve! Xo
I wonder if gulled in your example comes from the word beguiled?
Gulled is not really a word I know.
I don't think I've ever come across this word in this context! I've learnt something new today.
I didn't know gull could be used as a verb. I'm with EC and would use conned.
Love,
Janie

Fooled.
I will have to start using that word. Hmm...
Seriously? It's a bird. And my friend always told me there is no such thing as a sea-gull, only a B-gull and an E-gull. Right?
Tricked, duped! Hugs, Valerie

Hi Sandra - bird off ... as they're usually chasing food along the seafront, or even in the town! Cheers Hilary
Thanks J.P. Sending you hugs.
Hils, They do chase food, for sure;)
Hard question :D
I guess as a verb I would say mislead...as a noun I might say seabird...
Kinga,Thanks for taking time out of your schedule to stop by and mull it;)
