What's your synonym or sentence for gull (or gulled)?
There are several meanings for this word. This is a verb example: He gulled me into buying swampland.

I wonder if gulled in your example comes from the word beguiled?

I didn't know gull could be used as a verb. I'm with EC and would use conned.

Seriously? It's a bird. And my friend always told me there is no such thing as a sea-gull, only a B-gull and an E-gull. Right?
