A-Z: Ragdoll

The Ragdoll is named because it goes limp as a rag when it's held. This cat is big and calm and has blue eyes. Males can weigh up to thirty-five pounds. The only health problem of note is heart disease.  It's a great first time cat, friendly and easy to groom. Interested in adopting a Ragdoll? Try your local shelter or rescue or petfinder.com or overstock.com.

I have pre-posted but will be off line for the next few days.  Have a great weekend and hopefully I'll chat with you at your place Monday.

Somehow I thought R would be for Russian Blue. I've never heard of Ragdoll, so I guess that makes it all the more exciting and interesting. I was really impressed with this cat that is incredibly unique. Thanks for the R education!

Hi, dear Sandra!

The ragdoll cat is a work of art with that fluffy coat and piercing blue eyes. I would love to own one. I enjoy visiting stores, hotels and restaurants that allow animals inside or have mascot animals roaming about. I would love to visit Queen Matilda at the Algonquin.

Thank you, dear friend Sandra!

I always thought my Sidney was part ragdoll. She was such a mellow thing, blue eyes, flamepoint, but not especially big.

I picked Rabies to spotlight your short story Rainers today.

I don't often seek out a "bred" cat but the ragdoll could be an exception. They are quite dear!

I just knew your R cat would be a Ragdoll. I was due to adopt a male adult Ragdoll last month and I was thrilled to bits, but then his owner changed her mind and decided she would keep him after all. I was terribly disappointed.

Love the picture of the Queen in your former post. A ragdoll, how sweet, I think, do they want to be held or is this a way of dissuading that? Enjoy your break away from us! LOL
