BIO:
Whether the story is fiction or non-fiction, J.Q. Rose is “focused on story.” She offers readers chills, giggles and quirky characters woven within the pages of her mystery novels. Her published mysteries are Deadly Undertaking, Terror on Sunshine Boulevard and Dangerous Sanctuary released by Books We Love Publishing.
Using her storytelling skills, she provides entertainment and information in articles featured in books, magazines, newspapers, and online magazines. With her non-fiction book for girls, Girls Succeed! Stories Behind the Careers of Successful Women, she returned to her first love, writing about real people. J.Q. taught elementary school for several years and never lost the love for teaching passed down from her teacher grandmother and mother. She satisfies that aspect of her character by presenting workshops on Creative Writing and Writing Your Life Story and creating a book for life storytelling, Your Words, Your Life Story, based on her workshops. JQ decided to take the advice she gives to her workshop participants to sit down and write their stories. BWL Publishing released her memoir, Arranging a Dream, in January 2021.
Blogging, photography, Pegs and Jokers board games, and travel are the things that keep her out of trouble. She and her husband spend winters in Florida and summers up north with their two daughters, two sons-in-law, four grandsons, one granddaughter, two grand dogs, four grand cats, and one great-grand bearded dragon.

Bardzo ciekawe spotkanie.
Hi Sandra - yes I can imagine this being read by many a youngster, as well as mentors ... there are many avenues for a career today ... exploration in the choices the world offers makes so much sense. Good for JQ - and thanks for promoting - cheers Hilary
What a great theme!
I'm going to pass this link to a friend of mine - she has a 4 year old girl who loves books. They would both love this!
Great share! I'll pass it on to a friend to share with her granddaughter.
Thanks. I made a list of the careers and asked the ladies if they would like to share their stories to inspire girls. Yes, many of them were strangers. What a privilege to tell their stories.
Thanks, Valerie. And thanks for the hugs!
Love this--" a great book"--Thank you.
Hi Hilary, I cannot imagine what careers could be in a book like this in ten years. Technology is growing and changing--and hey, so is our lifestyle. Thanks for stopping in.
I have this on my kindle and look forward to reading it :)
Yep, by 4 years old, some kidsalready know what their passion is and want to do it for their life-long career. Thank you.
I would appreciate your sharing the book with your friend. Excellent idea!!

Hey, thank you! I hope it sells a bazillion too!! That dragon is so creepy. I don't think the cats want to get close to him. LOL
Aw, thanks for the kiss!
Sorry I'm late visiting. On Friday, I was without power for over 16 hours. I am hugging and kissing my AC after being without it in 100F + heat yesterday!
I am impressed with the number of professions in thuis book. It was good to see some highly professional and some craft and trade women who shared their stories. I'm sure this will be a big success. Sorry I don't know anyone with young girls who would benefit from this book.
It would make a great gift and I have a grand girl. Wink. Wink.
Yes and yes:)
Hugs received and returned.

Sending hugs, J. P.
16 hours? Ack! Sorry you were dealing with this and the heat. Glad you are back up and running, dear Elizabeth.
Isn't that great, Jacqui?
For me it would be a toss up between children's author, artist (which I'm not) and dressage rider. (Which I'm also not, but would love to learn:)
What a great title and terrific idea!
What a great book indeed! Excellent idea for a gift! Big Hugs!
