Ketch-Up Day

For those of you who had one, how was your extended weekend? As you can see, ours was lazy. By the way, this is my excuse for not getting more writing done.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it;)

Hawaii. Taken  (and shared) by D. L. Finn

Hawaii is on my bucketlist. What about you? Have you been to Hawaii? Or maybe a different island paradise?

Hooray for lazy weekends. I am sure that the moggies appreciated it too.

Hi Sandra - I too had a lazy weekend ... but looks like your four-leggeds were enjoying the company. I'd like to visit Hawaii - but doubt it now ... those turtle shots by D L Finn are wonderful - cheers for a good week! - Hilary

Sandra my friend, there are times I love sitting or lying around doing hardly nothing at all. So, if that means being lazy, I'm all in, because I feel it's highly important to take time out from this busy life in which one lives. That includes resting my mind too.

Oh, and I love seeing those flowers in your garden, they're truly beautiful!

And as for that camouflaged rabbit, I had to look twice to see what it is. So cute!

I have never been to Hawaii or to any island, which I probably never will but, when it comes to paradise, that is a place I know I will be going to!

My dear, you are covered in cats.
Saw Hawaii while moving back from Japan but just never had an urge to go back.

That looks like a fabulous way to spend a long weekend. Especially if you got the heavy rains. Your garden is so beautiful. I've never been to Hawaii. I have been to 3 island heavens: Nantucket, Bermuda, and my beloved Enders Island.

EC, They're all about lazy for sure;)
Hey Andrew, Yes, I think you could probably find all kinds of wonderful things to do in Hawaii that didn't involve sand and surf.
Hils, Let's hear it for lazy weekends. I love the turtle pics too:) Cheers,
Lon, I so agree. Time out from the world's pressures is very important. Glad you like the flowers:)

Alex, You are so funny. I'm not sure I knew you lived in Japan. What an amazing experience.
Thanks, CJ. I haven't been to Enders or Nantucket and would love to. We got 3" of rain. Woot. Woot.
Val, I hear ya. Hugs received and returned.
Christine, Yay you for visiting Hawaii. Glad you like the garden:)

Our long weekend was the week before and it was fun. This weekend was buying and planting flowers. I actually did it and am very proud of myself for doing it. I'm glad you took it easy and so are your furbabes

Not sure you will see this comment because I am in catch up mode myself. Your weekend was much more relaxed and stress free than mine. However, I did have an hour or so of downtime that basically looked like mine, but without the D.O.G.

Your garden is beautiful. Lovely day lilies and coneflowers.

That should have read downtime that looked like YOURS, not mine,
